Is starhub really not showing serie A matches, Gabrielle ? I just signed up for Goal 1 and 2 channels and will gladly forego the scottish and dutch games for italian league !

i dunno!!!! I check the schedule...no Serie A!!! My fren was telling me maybe SCV can't find sponsors!! Even the indonesian channel is not showing! I want my Serie A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I want my Milan!!!!!

Thats bad news! Although i'm not subscribing to SCV anymore.

Anyway glad to noe there are fellow milan fans here!!! was alone against my friends in last yr CL final. everyone supported the English side. Even the channel 5 seems to favor English teams too. Sigh...

Damn those bozos at super sports again. pezzo di merda!!! what the f@##$king **** are they thinking of? No Serie A?? Screw the EPL.......... All we advocates of Italian soccer should petition the return of our favourite weekend staple!!!!

Does this got to do with Mediaset taking over the rights to show Serie A matches instead of Rai International? I dun mind paying....but the channels are not available in Singapore right?? Am royally pissed off!!

Yo Gabrielle, I emailed starhub about this and they replied asking for my details. So I emailed them back my details and now still waiting for their reply !

I tried to call the customer service from my office phone n they make me wait for like 15 minutes?!?!?I slam the phone down when my boss called me on my cell!

I managed to get thru yesterday and was told negotiations were still in progress............some hope still for us all. No harm in continuing to bug them juz so as to let them know we can't be ignored!!!!!

Chinatown will start to light up on the 4th of Sept,the mid autumn festival...lantern festival.They are celebrating teh lantern safari at Chinese Garden this year I suppose..

Hi everyone, my name's Farah and I'm new here so I hope you guys don't mind me interjecting myself into this conversation. The lack of Serie A coverage in Singapore is an issue I'm very passionate about right now and I'm looking for as much support as I can get in trying to get Serie A back on our cable TV.

I've spoken to SCV and the word is "there are no immediate plans" to broadcast Serie A... and I'm like, go to hell! You made me pay MORE for sports channels because of bloody EPL and now you're cancelling my Serie A??!! But of course, this is just the trained speech from the call centre staff so the point is that we need to get answers from the Management of SCV - it's ridiculous that the season's started and "negotiations are still ongoing", as they claim... and in the meantime, while they're slacking in these supposed "negotiations", WE are still paying their salaries blindly!!!

Nevertheless, in spite of the "authoritarian" nature of organisations in Singapore in general, I do believe if enough of us make a hell of a lot of noise - and I'm talking letters to the Straits Times forum, getting The New Paper to cover this story - then we will be able to get our Serie A coverage... SOON.

So start by bombarding the SCV hotline with calls and screwing them up for depriving us of OUR football!!!!! Keep writing to the Straits Times until they publish our letters!!! Call The New Paper hotline!! We can get Serie A back on our TV - and our strength is in our numbers, and with some pressure, SCV will have to get off their inefficient asses and "negotiate" before the season actually ends!!

I just got off the phone.The staff who attended to my call didn't have a clue about what I'm asking !!!I told her it's Italian league broadcast! And she was like,"Tonight's there's live match between Newcastle United and......" wth?!?!

I told the lady that Im subscribing to the Sports channels because of the Italian league.If they are not broadcasting it anymore,I'm cancelling. I think we should flood the Starhub Cable'c customer care emails with our queries, show them that Serie A tifosi in S'pore do exist and our football matters!...It's getting so frustrating for me!argghh
