C Zanetti would be a great replacement for Vodel, given that the Swiss doesn't convince until the end of this season. Zanetti will add quality in depth to our midfield and will give a piece of mind to the coach for he will know he could be trusted even in top games ... something Carlo didn't feel about Brocchi and Dhorasoo, and now about Vogel.

he never convinced me... neither with inter italia or roma ... if we really need some like that then we should surely go for lyons diarra... carlo is looking for a player that can stop plays and play a good passing game... i wonder why he didnt go for van bommel

I am willing to have Zanetti at Milan not as a starter or in place of Ballack or Diarra but as a squad player, who won't just add a number to the team but also some quality that can be relied on ... something other players like Brocchi and now Vogel didn't do.
As for van Bommel, maybe he isn't so incredible for he's having problems finding his place in Barca and van Basten seems a bit dissatisfied with him in the NT. Still, given that he was available for free, he could be considered as a miss but I can't say I am pouring tears over him.

Thierry Henry for Vieri or Pippo! Also, now its an excellent time to lure Ronaldo to Milan.. I have always thought that Ronaldo was meant to play with Maldini some time..

Basically, the team is base on the current ACMilan players, just add few more world class player. With 3 attackive midfielders like this, they can attack in any kind of ways, wing attack or central attack, whatever they want. =) Also, Pirlo can use for long ball passing. Gattuso is good for strengthen the defence. and all of the defenders dont have to go forward. if they can pass the ball to the either one of the attack midfielder, they can keep the possession and go forward
