When will Milan finally buy wing-players ??

I already say this for a few years, and after the psv-game i say this again : Milan misses a true winger !! When we are playing against teams that play defense with 10 players, we miss creativity on the wings to create chances. Kaka, Seedorf, Gattuso, Pirlo : all central players! If it doesn't go through the centre, we often start to give long balls to the strikers. That's because we miss a wingplayer. Against psv we only started to get dangerous after Serginho was brought in. Milan is sometimes way too predictable : everything goes through the centre. Sure, we have Cafu and Kaladze, but they are offensive wing defenders. We need a true original, old-style wing player. Yes, someone like Roberto Donadoni was ! Remember how he created chances for us, when we were struggling to beat a smaller side ? With his speed, dribbles and crosses he was a real danger on the left side. Someone like him, we miss. The only player who can do that is Serginho, but he's too unstable. Jankulovski can do that also, but he's more defensive, more a type Kaladze.
No, we really need a left or right wing player that can create chances from the wing. Have u guys seen Farfan and Beasley for psv ? Milan-defenders had a lot of trouble with them. Why ? Because they are fast, strong and have great dribble-skills.
So 1 of those 2 players would be excellent signings i think. Chelsea for example has 3 good wingers : Robben, Wright-Phillips and Duff. Duff sits mostly on the bench.
Dutch teams mostly have good wing-players because their tactics are mostly with 3 strikers: 1 centre striker and a left and right wing. Overmars and Zenden were also that kind of players. Other good wingplayers are for example Joaquin (Betis), Wilhelmson (Anderlecht), Ze Roberto (Bayern Munich). We had Cosmin Contra, but Ancelotti used him as right back, like he uses Cafu right now. But Contra is not that strong as Cafu is in defense, but attacking he's not worse then Cafu. Contra was a good player, it's a pity Milan sold him after only 1 year.
But my point is, Milan needs at least 1 true wing-player of world class in their squad. That will help to solve the problem that Milan has, namely to create chances against smaller, defensive-orientated teams.

We have Jankulovski! But we lack any wingers on the right, we have Cafu, but he cant play 2 games in a row and even with all that rest he still cant run like last year.

I always wanted Cicinho :/

Mehdi is an unknown quantity at this point
Jankulovski is a true winger. We don't have a genuine winger on the right. You'll have to wait for a new coach for a change.

We have Serginho, Jankulovski and Cafu play like a winger in Milan...of course a player like Robben is always welcome.

An attacking right back is all we need. Inter have always got wingers, where has it ever got them?

inter is inter, they simply cant win it. But cafu is simply and attacking RB. And we bought Marek so he can be our new attacking LB. You all saw how kaladze can play some horrible forward runs. Serginho is pretty unstable. On the right we have Rino and he brings much to the team, but when cafu retires and there isnt any other RWB as him, we will need clear RW. Joaquim is a master player, he is world class. Better that Camoranesi( look at how juve breaks down smaller teams). Milan will simply need to spend some big money, its simple as that.

I can't see Joaquin coming. Spanish players don't have the best of records in adapting to calcio (Mendieta, Jose Mari, Javi Moreno etc etc).

Personally, I like Mancini of Roma, who would be a good addition, though I realise that Carlo rarely likes playing with orthodox wide attackers. Marchionni is another I always thought was useful, though his career has been inconsistent.

Cafu is an offensive wing back, so he also has to think about defending. Indeed, Serginho and Janku are more kind of wing players. But Milan is a worldteam so we need a worldclass wing-player. Anyone who saw the psv-game realises that a wingplayer could have been very important there. Milan became dangerous when Serginho entered the field.

Well lets say we sign 2 new wingers. Who would you leave out of the team? Kaka, Sheva and Gila all have to play. Pirlo and a defensive midfielder have to play so that leaves 1 spot free for one of your wingers.

indeed. Kaka on numero 10, 2 strikers and Pirlo in central. And then Gattuso or Seedorf and 1 new wing player.

Example :

Dida

Cafu Maldini Nesta Kaladze

Pirlo Gattuso

Kaka

Sheva Gila

That leaves 1 spot for a true wing player. But against smaller teams it can be appropriate to put gattuso on the bench, and play both Seedorf and a wing player. Besides, i haven't said that this new wing player should play ALWAYS ! We have had successes without wing players, i just say we need a world class wing player in our squad. That doesn't mean he always plays, but it's important we have one, when Milan has difficulties again against a smaller side. I can't understand that some people don't see that we really need a true winger ...

if we gonna use a "true wing" then we need to change our formation and tactics

we have to change almost nothing. 1 wingplayer in, Gattuso or Seedorf out. And like i've already said we don't have too play with a 'true wing' every game, but it's needed that we have one in our squad.
