I wasnt doing Lille a disservice by saying they had no attacking intent whatsoever at Old Trafford, its a simple fact that anyone who saw that game (including their own manager, unless he is an arrogant Utd fan too ) would back me up on. Also, i went against just about every pundit on that game by correctly predicting Utd would only manage a draw that night. As for tonight, they didnt really attack much this time either, they only had 2 guys in the box for their goal but unfortunately the pass somehow dissected all 4 Utd defenders and Smith

The midfield is where the real problems lie though, and if Bodmer and co can stifle Utd so easily then what will Lampard, Makelele and co do? not that im worried, im a supremely confident arrogant Utd fan and i know well beat them, in fact i'll be sticking a tenner on Ruud to bag a hatttrick........
haha ruud to bag a hat-trick???

... yeah... as one person said... this thing sounds a bit too arogant... our recent form is horrible... it's obivous... we are fvckin losers...

our guys do not want to play... they do not feel theirselves as a team... only individuals... look ar Ronnie or Roon... they wanted to do something but after every step they faced rival defence which was way too powerful to prevail it by solo raid... Silvestre and Park used to do something too... but all in vain cuz nobody helped them... it's useless to continue playing like that - long balls to nowhere... it shows our desperation... I do not see fire and eargeness in their eyes... maybe it's due to absence of key players... but we can not justify it completely... it is not the essential reason why our guys do not wnat to fight... they simply do not want to play... they are pesimists... they do not see a hope... we need a one who light it eventually... maybe Fergie can do that... maybe Keano... or Giggsy... I am hoping that the someone will do that eventually... otherwise... ... ...

Its the midfield that needs sorting, Fletcher and Smith are not capable of dominating sides and it leaves the attack isolated, Ruud spent the whole game just getting smacked in the back of the head by Tavlaridis, we didnt make one single chance for him. Most of the game we had 3 attackers against 6+ defenders and the midfield were simply incapable of helping...on the bright side though, Chelsea have to lose a league some time

i don't know how many chelsea fans are glory hunters, the team rose so quickly and despicably that I think the average football fan hates them.

I still hate there fans, I imagine a lot of them where part-time and generally uninterested until the russian mafia took them over.

Good to hear Shomo

There used to be a time when every neutral hated Utd, now its Chelseas turn and they do have plenty of glory hunters too. One thing about Utd was that we have always been the biggest club in England and after the busby babes tragedy a lot of neutrals used to favour Utd. Since the 90s glory a lot of those neutrals did become actual fans and were labelled glory hunters at the time but a lot of them did feel something for the club beforehand. Chelsea in contrast dont really have any sort of history, i know a few Chelsea fans who supported them since the Gullit/Vialli/Zola years began and i have respect for them because they were drawn by a style of play and not success, i have no respect for the people who support them becuase of what Abramovich has done though.....

in the current table Utd are the 3rd best team in greater Manchester, behind Bolton and Wigan not for long though

Yeah it was. But first you should state what is biggest Is it the one which has won the most trophies or the one which is richest or the one which has the biggest army of fans or etc. etc. etc.

Pa7uel, As Rae's pointed out Liverpool are Englands most successful team, but Utd are still the biggest. All through Liverpools best days, the 70s and 80s when they won the league almost every year and the European Cup 4 times, Utd still had larger attendances than them, even in 1975 when we were relegated to the old Division 2 we still had the biggest crowds in the country

I know he can play as defender as well as midfielder... Probable sub for Keano... IMO not the worst one...
