that list is missing Boca Juniors in Bianchi era, beetween 1998/2001 and 2003/04, with Riquelme, Samuel, Battaglia, Tevez and many others great players that were part of that era. That team beated Del Bosque's Real Madrid and was 40 matches with out being defeated. Not mentioning they won 4 local tournaments, 3 Libertadores Cups and 2 Intercontinental cups(as said one vs aReal Madrid and the other vs Milan).In that list also should be Independiente of the 70's with Bochini in the leading that team won 5 Libertadore's cups.

They were part of the same era but not neccesarily the same team, for example Samuel left in 2000 when Tevez was still a kid in the youth team. It is the same as saying Milans great early

That said, there are a few teams in their who were essentially based around 1 player, its hard to consider Santos for example the best ever "team" when 10 of the players were only on the pitch to give the ball to Pele

I would suggest the Utd side of the late 60s for that reason (i know im biased ) not only did that side rise from the ashes of the Munich disaster but it contained no less than 3 European players of the year (Law, Best and Sir Bobby) and most importantly was a side that was totally commited to attacking football

Yes i said those players where part of that era, even if they didnt played togethe, but the truth is that that was a real team, with all players scoring and having importance in the rersults. Some of them werent so good at all, like Villarreal, for instance, who played the Libertadores final in 2001 and 2003, he is the greatest example that with Bianchi anyone could be a good player, but the most important is that this was a great team, not just a bunch of good players, and most important is that this team won, and it won everything.

if you talk about South American teams,so what about the Palmeras side of the mid 90's?I remember they were great in that time.with Rivaldo.

i think the milan side from 2002/03 - 2004/05 ... should be there... i dont think you guys realise what a historic side we have here... in a few years time ull realise this but i dont tihnk ive ever seen a team play such dominating football both in europe and in italy which is the hardest league in the world (and with 20 teams - not 18 like in the past) ... we could have easily had an extra 2 CL's, 1 scudetto, and a host of other 1-match trophies we could of won had we won those... we won in old trafford, we were very unfortunate to go out vs depor as we were without a doubt favorites to win it had we gone through with a weaker lyon, porto and monaco left to take it away from us... the following year we almost won the double, the 6 mins of madness messed it up for us in the final, while in the scudetto we were neck and neck with juve until that contreversial lose at the SS when we deserved atleast a penalty afer zambrotta fouled cafu in the PK area.
