It was an important win...Empoli's game have brought us luck before playing the next game in Champions League. This was an emotional win when we saw that for 77min we struggled to win and then we exploded afeter scoring 1...2...3...and we saw the celebrations from Inzaghi, Anceloti to Galiani...

Now we will take this emotions of believing in the face of Bayern who were defeated in their muddy home field and they are struggling physically and mentally while Milan got what they needed the most from Emopli beside the 3 points: The emotions and confidence!

It was not a good game, but fortunadtely we got the 3 points...

I also watched Samp vs. Juve... too bad Nedved scored during the last 15 min.

we could have come 2 points closer before our game vs. Juve.

It was nice to see Galliani's excitement celebrating Pippo's goal. Everybody was so stress because we couldn't come close to score... good pass from Kaladze, who was one of the best players today. He got cut on his shin after a slide by Rigano' (or Tavano?)

Maldini was sitting next to the bench... very tanned... seems like he enjoyed Florida.
Hope we can see him in rossonero soon...

Lippi should be asking for Pippo's phone number, instead of Vieri's...even if he's to be used after Gila and Toni...

So, a very poor overall performance... don't the let the score fool you... if you didn't get to watch the game, 3-0 doesn't reflect how it happened... we're fortunate to have great quality players who can do things in difficult moments...

Carlo gave a rest to those who will play in UCL, and played with their National sides...like Nesta, Kaka', Pirlo... but had to use them in the 2nd. half because we couldn't afford to loose 2 points at home, against the worst defense in Serie A.

This is preocupating, I was thinking that we've played a decent match...

I think you preocupy about not having something to be preocupied about... so this maybe good news for you...

Just enjoy the fact that we were able to open the score... Empoli just lost it after that... the subs (Pirlo, Kaka', Sheva) improved the team...

BTW, Sheva had totally black shoes... looked classic, but strange... not sure if they were Lotto, I would think they are...

Sheva sitll have the contract with Lotto n i think he still need to wear the Lotto Sheva Speed.

i Watched the game too and Billy do look great(at his age).Simic is almost doing the work of Cafu.Going up from the right every time....

Inzaghi do have a good turning to score after a few attemp.Only play not so well.He even can hardly touch the ball...

hope this win can boost Milan Moral and the rested player will have more energy to face Bayern.By the way Bayern lose 2-1 to Hamburger

Yes, it has just finished 1-1.
Materazzi made a childish mistake before Roma's goal in the 1. half. Then in the 89th minute he made up for it and scored the equalizer with a header.

Carlo Ancelotti was furious at his Milan players after a sluggish display against Empoli. “I’d have substituted everyone if I could.”

“In the first half we got everything wrong,” he said after the hard-fought 3-0 win. “We were too slow, not aggressive enough and frankly I’d have substituted all my players if I could. Nonetheless, we did well to keep our heads and speed up the tempo after the break.”

The Rossoneri were disappointing for an hour of their match with the Tuscans, but once Pippo Inzaghi’s first goal went in off the crossbar, suddenly the game opened up.

“I thought I had put out the line-up that was most reliable for this delicate encounter. We had a lot of internationals who weren’t too sharp after the midweek games and I knew I could make changes later on. Our other commitments proved distracting.”

Excellent second half, and I give Carlo the credit for making the changes that he did, and the timeliness of same.

He gets a 8 for coaching. He was decisive, and all his subs contributed to the win.

I am happy for this performance, though I am a bit disappointed with Rui´s performance...and Seedorf was similarly disappointing.

Good foundation for a win on Wednesday! FORZA MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILAN!!

I don't think the second half was excellent... it took too much suffering to score the first goal... that's why Galliani celebrated like a little kid... it was easier after that...

But Carlo did the right thing by giving Kaka', Sheva and Pirlo a rest... and using them once he realized they needed to be on the pitch to solve the game...

Rui was really disappointing... as much as I like him...

You are spot on SANT...indeed, it was edge of the seat stuff until we scored...but we did start to play better with Kaka on the pitch.

great win we played like elders in the 1st 65 mins but then inzaghi scored i looked at gila poor guy i think he was kind of dissapointed of himself.

I don't think Gila was disappointed... he did his job... just couldn't score... but until that moment, no one else had been able too...

Vogel was good, but that doesn't mean he has taken Rino's place.

BTW, and a little offtopic... Poulsen scored a header for Schalke04... and Materazzi almost broke a couple of legs against Roma before scoring with a header... he had a terrible game... but he scored the tie...
