Pippo's three goals were indeed heartwarming but rational minds will not suddendly bench an in form Gilardino for a 32 year old striker ... he has proven he can be a 'clutch' player however, it is irrational to bench Gilardino.

The sooner Gila adapts to playing with Sheva, the better for everybody... because in a couple of years, if not much sooner, Pippo will not be there anymore...
And Sheva as well...so why should Gila addapt to Sheva then?

Pippo Inzaghi is now talking about how he hopes to play in the World Cup for Italy. If he continues to score then I think he should be considered, but the only problem is it might be simular to Baggio in the last WC where he is injury prone.

'Cause Sheva is 3 years younger than Inzaghi, and doesn't get himself injured like for half year every season...

benching Gilla should destroy him as he is still young and need experince while beching Inzaghi would make him do his best to prove himself , just like Del Piero.
so if Inzaghi is on bench , this would result in having 3 strikers as Gilla starts with Sheva and Inzaghi is a great substitute while if Gilla is on bench then we will only have as Gilla is still too young to be a good substitute and cant turn the result for Milan.
i like how Inzaghi fights and proves himself as a subistitute though.

If Carlo were to think like you Egoistka, then Rui will be playing week in week out while Kaka is benched. Is that what you like to see?

The fact that Gila is starting more than Pippo is because any rational mind would know that benching a young whom has already shown his potential in serie A can be detrimental to his pride and form. While Pippo whom is already 32 and matured enough (like Rui) to give up his place for the rising star of the team, he is and will be still called upon to fill in the void when needed. Pippo and Rui are just some of the many examples of great humility players in Milan. It is a tradition for Milan to have this system and it is this good mixture of young and old that builds up the team's immense quality in depth and camadarie.

Like someone said earlier, if Inzaghi decides to leave, Milan will not stop him. However that will be unlikely because of the faith Milan has shown in him during his 18 months absence. To be able to resurrect his career in a club like Milan, no amount of money and glory can pull him away anymore (considering he is 32 too ).

Gila is an investiment for the future, nobody could believe he would settle well in our team and score 15 goals so far.
To compare him with Pippo is unfair, Pippo is older and more self aware. He's more confident of his skills, while Gila has to prove them yet.

But we did the best thing to sign Gila, the regular starter of Italy, hopefully WC champion at the next Wc

ANYWAY, despite all things that Inzaghi done in the past, the fact that he is 32 years old, the divings he usually made, the 'easy' goal he scores, hattrick hero with Italy, the dark 2 years of injury, he scores a lot of goal this season... (already 10 goal!) AND ALWAYS PLAY WITH ALL HIS HEART... Salute for you, Inzaghi...

Dont compare Rui Costa/Kaka to Inzaghi/Gilardino...Kaka is much better than Rui Costa...about Gila I cannot say that he is better than Inzaghi..opositely I think Inzaghi is better.

Having 3 good strikers is better than having only 2. You never know about injuries in the toughest defensive league like Serie A is.

and guess what? Having 4 good strikers is better than having only 3. And 5 better than 4.

And don't LOOSE patience with Oksana... we know what she meant...
