Best players in the world...Under 19

What do you guys think? There are a bunch of good candidates such as Messi, Carlos Vela, Anthony Stokes, Giovani dos Santos, Anderson, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Aguero and etc...

what do we think about what?

we can recognize them as good prospects, but what are you suggesting, that ACM acquires them? or just to comment?

No I mean who is your pick? It is more of a comparo than manifestation of opinions, sorry for not being clear enough. This is not about who Milan should snap over the summer, but rather soccer/football in general

haha, OK, sorry, just wanted to make sure... well, being a Mexican I'm glad you listed 2 of our under 17 world champions, Carlos Vela -striker, belongs to Arsenal, on loan to Celta de Vigo- and Giovanni Dos Santos -attacking midfielder, on Barcelona's youth system- (now they're 17)

Messi is already a established player... Cesc Fabregas should be one of the most expensive transfers if he ever leaves Arsenal, because of his talent and his age...

Sergio Aguero, from Independiente (Argentina) will be in Europe soon, no doubt, but he's only what? 17? he should be in the next WC with his National Team...

I really admire Arsenal's strategy of building a team of predominantly young players. Granted, they lack experience, but they still put up quite a solid performance for the past few weeks, including the games against Juve in the Champions League. And believe it or not, they are going to be one of the most formidable teams in Europe in a year or to...Take my word for it.
Anyway, among those younsters, my favorite ones would be Fabregas, Messi, and Anderson...Sometimes I wihs we could have seen at least one of them play for us. Then again I definitely cannot complain with the solid performances put up by our experienced squad.

I have to add to the list (and vote for him as my favourite) Fernando Gago, because he's the leader of Boca and already got 3 titles in his first year in proffesional football and being a crucial part of the team, becises of being part of the same NT with Messi in Holland U 20 WC. I choose him for all this reasons, but i think Messi is really from another planet, and i hope he can be our Mesias in this WC, hhaha.

Fabregas is no longer an unknown and inexpensive player after the show against Juve. The cheep players are only available before they play in CL but ACM problem is that they never trust young players.

Not even trust experienced ones like Jan, Voggel, Dorasoo, Brocchi, Simic Martin and so many of them.

It only take a games to make fabregas famous. But is he really so capable ?

Ajax have the best youth system and produce so of the best player in the game. The team of the ajax 2003 that milan defeated is so good even they do not won anything. So of the player like Chivu, Van der vaart, van der myde , Zlatan ( few i remember ) bulit their reputation. After their performance all the Europe top club wil come to buy but it only take them a year to rebulid again with their youngster again. They are the world best producer of youngster with Barca come close in recent year.

Arsenal and mu arent ( Mu after Giggs,scholes,Neville brother, beckham,butt) . There are to steal other club youngster which make it so unfair.

I do wonder when Milan will have the next paolo maldini ? do we really need to wait for Christien???MIlan tend to prefer to older n more experince player

yap... before i forget there is also freddy adu n Nilmar which i think freddy adu is really un believe able. His reputation is also wide and eye by all europe big club. ( recently linked with Chelsea n Mu before Milan too)

I tend to believe that Freddy Adu is overrated, since it is the first time a starlet is coming out of the U.S.(well, there was Landon Donovan before but oh well...) Then again the kid is only 16, you never know whether he is going to keep rising or just disappear like Francis Jeffers, Ricardo Quaresma, Saviola, Simao Sabrosa and etc...

I dont think Nilmar is under 19 either?

Another player worth considering is Aaron Lennon of Spurs, a fast, tricky young winger who gets more impressive by the game.

I think its a bit much to criticise Arsenals policy as they are buying in players who are very young and then training them to play their fast mobile passing style. Sure they took Fabregas from Barca but it has been good for his development, he left Barca because he didnt feel he was learning anything there, they just played friendlies against amateur teams and won them 30-0 At Arsenal he has developed at great speed, he already has 100 first team appearances to his name, something that really wouldnt have happened if he'd stayed at Barca.

As for Utd, the youth policy is decades old, it vastly predates the Beckham and Giggs era (Edwards, Charlton, Best and co) and is still producing after the early 90s team (Brown, O Shea, Fletcher, Richardson) there is a full academy and at least 15 players are out on loan developing too. Unfortunatly in the modern game you cant expect to find 11 world class players who are all born and raised within 10 miles of Manchester

Sorry but Saviola never disappeared, he played in Barça many years and now he is satrting to recover his level at Sevilla, and i think he ll definitly will be in the world cup.

Granted, he is still a good player but he is not the next big thing as people had depicted him back then. Don't get me wrong, I still think he is a good player. It's just that I do not think he has become what he could have

Well at least now is he playing so good. His pace n control of the ball. If do find that fabregas also overrate. He did play well in the match VS juve at highbury. But is that in other match he also played so well? It that a player value will rise after a match of very good performance? It this the familer case ot rooney when he score winner again arsenal?
