I understand your feelings, coz during the match I also said to my fiance, that if i see Gila one day, i am gonna panch him on the face for that performance. That he is not capable to handle any kind of pressure, you can see, I can see...all the rest of the people are blind for now. About 2d leg...dont worry Gila is not going to play, Inzaghi will. And with the help of Inzaghi and Sheva we will score 2 or 3 goals. Kaka probably will be more active. So relax for now, will see what will happen.

A lot of the posts I read today are absurd but this one beats them all, especially the first line. If I were to strangle everyone who dissapointed me at some time in their Milan career then to see Milan we would have to go to the cemetery.
On the first place this post wasnt that absurd...He has a point. About hitting the post he is totally right, for example. The position was brilliant to score...oppositely, you need to try really hard to hit the post from that position, easier to score. . About cemetory....human thoughts not even in 20% come true...because if they would, everyone would be killed already, all the banks would be robbed and so on...Feelings and emotions, when we are angry are much angrier than those in normal life..so even here it wasn't absurd.

Yeah, it was no longer very complimentary to me Iv still got faith in him though so Im keeping him as the best MF in the world.

He really tried to impose him self on the game today. I admired his courage to have a go and take people on and hold the ball up, but his touch isnt the same so his bravery led to errors. Hes lacking confidence and just needs a freekick to go in or something.

Kaka has been poor in the last few CL games and needs to start imposing himself on games. You know what, forget it. You have no faith in Gila, I do. We will resume the discussion when he proves you wrong.

I agree with you here..but Kaka does his job in Serie A...so I guess its not really fair to critisize him really hard. Although he is quite not active in CL games..maybe he spends too much time with his wife recently?

Lets put it this way. If Gilardino scored on that one opportunity where he hit the post, these discussions would not have been going on right now. A couple of centimeters and Gilardino was going to be a hero.........even for Egoistika. And I say this because I have seen it too many times everywhere else, as well as in these forums. It is true that a fit Inzaghi should start over Gilardino as of right now, but Alberto did OK and nobody can prove that if Inzaghi was on the field he would have scored.

Another thing is.......what the he!! is wrong with some people here. I understand that you only want to be realistic and i dont even know what...but to say that we don't stand a chance against Barca in Spain is just pure stupidity. Devoted_DM (no offence, I just remembered how you said that we have only 10% chance so that is why I use you as an example, but there is a lot of other people that think we will not make it)....why do you only give us a 10% chance? Just because the game is in Spain or because Barca is better then us? Well they are definetly not better then us as we proved that tonight(score line apart). It was a very even game and even though it seemed that they had more posetion, WE had the better chances. It was only their night to score a goal and not ours. Let me ask you all one thing?...if one of our chance went in and it was 1-0 Milan.....would you still say that they are so much better then us????NOOO, because they did not show that in their game. I know that anyones reaction will be that we did not score and stop asking the IF QUESTIONS. But I am just trying to say that tonight proved that these 2 teams are at dead level in terms of quality. Which means that we have a great chance of sneaking in a couple of goals in Spain....just like how they took their chance to score at the San Siro.
I would say that the chances of progress are still high...something like a 45%, and they only have 10% more because Barca doesn't have to score and we do. It is 90 minutes and the last time I checked the pitch at the Nou Camp is as big as the one at San Siro. So what is the difference??? The Spanish air???? The crowd???? What??? These are professionals that have been in all kinds of circumstances and I am sure they will not be intimidated by the Spanish crowd. There is a WHOLEE 90 minutes to go. I can not understand why give up. I know everyone here thought that we can go to Delle Alpi and beat Juventus. Everyone thought thinks that we can go to the Olimpico and beat Roma. So why not Barca??? They are better then Juve and Roma?? So what!!!!!They are not better then us. We have been to Germany and beaten Bayern there......we have been to England and beaten United there. We have been to Spain and beaten Deportivo there........!
All we need is one goal. A split of a second or a moment of brilliance or a lucky deflection or a lucky bounce or a great build up!!! Only one goal! Nothing is lost and expecially after tonight, when we saw that the GREAT Barca is by no means a better team then Milan. We are par by par with them and they sneaked one in. That's the whole difference. Lets make sure next weak we sneak one or more in!
Forza Milan!
Keep your faith Rossoneri!

i really wish he does prove me wrong, this way we will not have a striker who earns for just appearances and assists ! don't get me wrong i have faith in him looking at the goals he has scored previously. form is temporary class is permanent. gila has the class

but for this season he has FAILED, miserably!

Today what a great chance he had, no pippo, but still he did not score! I just read his interview on milan website. he said he did not have luck and i agree on that but its a very LAME reason to cover the loss

Yea?? Well then why don't you criticize Sheva! He didn't do his job too!! Or is it because he has scored 9 already. I can care less if he scored 15.....he didn't score today. So go bash him too!
I can understand the frustration against Gila because he is yet to score in the CL, but don't blame him for losing the game and please don't make comments that if Inzaghi was in, he was going to score!

Almost, santimeters and millimeters dont count...
For one scored goal Gila wouldnt become a hero for me, although i would say that he had a good performance instead of critisism. Its not that easy to become a hero for me...you need to prove it many times before it happens. So dont talk for me...

Sheva didnt score today, but Sheva didnt waste such opportunities as Gila did...Sheva at least put the ball to the goalkeepers hands...what can you do here. Sheva was seen in the middle and in defense today as well...So you cant compare performance of Sheva to Gila's..

as i have said earlier I look at long term performances and not short term coz
they dont present the right picture. I never blamed him for todays defeat. and how do u know if pippo was in he wudn't have scored?

1) Milan wasted 3/4 good chances and if u do that against a team like Barca you know that there is a chance they score 1 against you ... Almost in an Italian way. Btw, why the hell tried Kaka to reach Gila instead of shooting on the goal ? For such world class player i don't understand why he didn't try to shoot himself ...
Ambro wasted also a great opportunity, but well he's no attacking player.
2) I think Dida could have got the goal. He came out of his goal, took one step back and Giuly scored. He could have gone forward, out of his goal, and then Giuly would have never scored.
3) Ancelotti tried to do the same things like against Lyon: Maldini in, Serginho to the left attacking wing, Ambro in, ... Just the same things like he tried against Lyon. It will not always work like that Carlo !! We were behind, you could have brought Rui Costa. But like i said before, Carletto is sometimes too afraid to take risks. Although i know we still have a return.
4) Kaka had not his best shape, although he tried to start playing good towards the end of the game.
5) If u see what chances we wasted, maybe we missed Pippo.
6) Stam played very good in defensive way, but on attacking level, he was nowhere. A lot of bad passes and crosses. I can understand that Stam played to cover up Ronaldinho, but with Cafu in position of Stam our attacks from the right would have been more dangerous. Rijkaard knew that Stam isn't the best crosser, and Barca allowed Milan to give the ball to him.
7) Milan can win in Camp Nou, but then they have to score the chances they get.
