Pace, width, strength, aggression ... this side would have it all.

I'm not so sure about Alves, i don't see what he has that Reveillere does not. I think the French man is a better defender/tackler also, although granted he's probably not as good at attacking. However, when i've seen Alves he does sometimes just put his head down and runs, almost Baros like ... and anyway he'll be at Liverpool/Barca next season.

I think he is pretty good player but don't really see him as someone who's up for a team of Milan's calibre ... maybe he would make a good squad player but not much more than that.

I would expect Kalac to be let go, especially with his name being mentioned in those gambling accusations. Plus his role in the team is hardly a key one as many other keepers could perform it.
I personally would sell Abiatti and loan Foggia to Roma as part of a Mancini deal and have Dida as first GK and get Amelia from Livorno as a back up. I think it would be good for Amelia to spend a year getting used to Milan and take over from Dida from the following season.
If Buffon does come to Milan, our second keeper would have to be an older guy - either Dida or someone like Peruzzi or Antoniolli (I think he signed with Juve but if they get demoted, his contract may very well not count).
Also, if Zambrotta comes, Favalli would most probably leave in direction Lazio, maybe as part for a possible deal for Oddo.
My dream is Diarra but a cheap Emerson would give us similar qualities and for only a fraction of that 30 mil Diarra would cost us. Of course that's based on the assumption that Juve get relegated (not likely cause it would be a question of huge investments falling through) and Emerson is available for cheap - hey, it's the "dream" thread, isn't it?

i agree with you, but i doubt we are getting mancini, i dont mind keeping foggia i havent seen him but he had some good reviews and maybe he can become a future star, loaning him out too much may make him want to leave us
