read my previos post. I added some things to it, things that make the above response ... unnecessary.

You're not accounting for a terrible and ruthless factor named TIME. Our 2003 veteran's are now 3 years older, and that unfortunatelly makes a BIG difference. So answer your question with another answer: do you prefer to have a potentially shaky season (althoug I didn't believe that has to occur) in order to build a powerful squad for the years to come, or to watvch the gradual but inevitable painful technical and physical declining of a long time ago legendary squad, with the board pathetically trying to remediate things with quick fix improvisations?

you are missing the point - this whole argument is about "policy" ... with time the policy stays the same but that doesn't mean that well keep relying on the same players over 4 years. We have added many quality players to the squad - at least 2-3 each season. The fact that they aren't 30 mil purchases each of them, now that's the policy of Milan - to buy efficiently, not NOT buying at all.
Go back in time and you will see that a number of players have come and gone. Problem is that when not all of them make the headlines, it creates this impression among fans that Milan's not bying new players at all, and that's simply not true.

Yes, we are talking about policy, that's right, but about a policy that's not at all improving our squad. Don't you recognize that our levels of performance are declining year after year? Yes, you can say that Juve robbed us one or two scudetti, but unfortunatelly Serie A is not anymore strong as it used to be by the 80's and 90's.

Fantastic transfers, mk18, with the single exception of Emerson.

Can someone tell me who this COPPOLA guy is that we supposedly signed???? Is he a youth prodigy or an actual starter of Ascoli. Anyone recall this player Ascoli v Milan???
Thanks if anyone can shed some light on this guy.

And what about Foggia? Can anybody tell me who he is ? Or if he actually is that good ? And what position he's playing ?
(Sorry, I know I look a bit stupid, but I don't have the chance to live in Milan or to have their games on TV...)

Coppola is not a bad goalkeeper, good backup for a World class keeper. Foggia, oh man that guy is good. He playes on the right side and plays in style of Camoranesi ( that Juve guy). When I watched Foggia play against any team he was making big problems on that right side to any team (Milan, Juve, Inter...) so he is good, very good !

ditto that. Foggia can also play on the left, I think, so he is pretty universal on the wings.

Warro Bantan will become famous soon enough
From theGuardianīs rumor mill for today:

Quote:
Liverpool are facing a fight to court the affections of Seville full-back Daniel Alves. Rafa Benitez had hoped to seal the deal with the 22-year-old in the next few weeks but Barcelona and AC Milan are also eyeing him up. And a sticky situation has engulfed another of Rafa's targets, Mark Gonzalez. The Reds have submitted another work permit application for the young winger who, along with team-mate Reinaldo Naiva, was sent home from Chile's recent friendly in Ireland after being caught in a hotel room with three girls. An incensed Gonzalez insisted: "Neither Navia or me were drunk and I have already explained that we were with three girls only giving them our autographs."
So those who think we will only sign 30+ year olds like Favalli think again! We are also trying to sign young pornstars as well!

I'm not sure why the Guardian is saying that Gonzales is a Liverpool target, he's already a Liverpool player. It's only down to work permit issues that he's not playing for them right now and was on loan in Spain.
