Do you guys like Fernando Torres Sanz?

I decided to ask you guys, if you like Fernando Torres Sanz...He seams like a pretty good player (forward) and he is very young. I wonder how much Atletico de Madrid could ask for him...

Agree with you. He is young, skilled, tall, fast etc. but I do not know why he never convinced me that he is for real.
And Atlético will ask at least 30 mill for him. I am pretty sure they already sold him because they're constantly in financial trouble and all of a sudden hired Aguero for 26 mill!
Hmmm...

It's risk not at all worth taking because he is not going to come for nickels and dimes. May be Real Madrid but not a smart club like ours.

I dont think its that Torres is a bad player, its just that there are other players people would rather see here, Tevez being a clear example.

Personally i dont think Torres has enough consistency yet to play for Milan. He is brilliant when he's on form (which tends to be when he's playing Barca ) but can have long spells of being relatively ineffective. Gilardino is still finding his feet at Milan too and i dont think we can afford to have 2 players up front who are both still inconsistent, if they both have an offday at the same time it would put massive pressure on Kaka to produce the goods...

i voted yes, i like his style and everything, but it doesnt mean i want us to sign him, there are many on the list that i would rather see here, especially since he would cost a fortune given that hes a risk outside spain and is unproven in big tournaments

I think Torres is a great player...........but in Spain. I am really scared of signing spanish players and expecially spanish players that have never played outside of Spain. For the sake of his tallent he should stay outside of Italy. English and Spanish players just don't seem to fit into the way football is played in Italy. I am not saying that Torres can not be an exeption, but I certainly am not willing to take a 30+mil risk on it when there are far more better options anyway.

Do you remember a story with Kaka...the first club who was watching him was Dinamo Kiev...and their coach said that kaka is not that good at all and he doesnt worth taking him at all...later on Milan signed him..and what now??? How do you think that coach feels now?? Same might be here..such a young promising player, who doesnt cost that much money yet, coz he just started shining...and he already is in the spanish national team...that means smth doesnt it?

Do you think Maldini is going to play next season? I think his knee injury is very bad..and even if it doesnt hurt now..it may start during the season. I like maldini, but I think that he unfortunately will leave the club and maybe will later become a coach of Milan or smth. (sorry if out of topic...just wanted to ask)

Ooh I see, that's why you didn't post Beckham's pic........without a jersey ofcourse!

No, this guy will cost lots of money! Let me tell you how the final price or the equilibrium price is attained. Now, alot of clubs are looking for a good striker and Torres is a good striker! So all interested clubs will be bidding for him, which will push his price up and up. On top of that RM and Barca are both in the race of getting his signature, and when they bid, they reach astronomical figures such as GBP 50 mn. Other than that Spanish players don't rock in Italy.

Kaka was different....., well he was a Brazillian, that's all I can think of at the moment. Then we have Gila who is at par with torres (don't look at me like that: ) in terms of skills. So there is no point having two similar strikers. Still, I am not sure what Galliani and Braida think of him so... we might see a surprise
