prifess is an unknown quantity at this point
tevez would be a good replacement as well, i wasn't convinced that he would be that good... he is really amazing!

but tevez ~40mil€ cause chelsea bid for em last year i think around 36mil€ and they refused it...
corinthians with tevez and mascherano could do big business IMO could get 70mil€ for both of them...

close is good but to old 28 :| pffffff

Yea.. since when is 28 years too old.. Shev is 29-30 and everybody loves him. AND Klose has done a MUCH better job than Torres at WC. So why do people believe is Torres is better.. I have no clue.

I wish I could tell you why but I share the same opinion as you. It's probably because we are clueless and don't know anything about football.

They just believe that if a player isn't younger than 25.. he can't be of use to us. No matter how badly Torres does, they'll continue making excuses for him. Tevez has done a better job than torres imo. But Klose has outshined them both. Even Podolski has done a better job but he is going to Bayern Munich I think. We'll see how he handles the Italian defense in the semifinal.

Look at who Argentina played.. and look at who spain played. THEN rethink your decision.

Klose doesn't has enough skill, he's much more a target striker than an all round multivalent forward... and what we are in real bad need is the second kind of footballer...

What I was sayin, is that Spain had easier opposition to play against. But anyway your opinion is yours.

If I were to decide among those three, my rank would probably look like this:

1) Tevez
2) Torres
3) Klose

There is a difference between quality players and average players who have a knack for having great tournaments. I will agree that Klose is having a fantastic tournament. The guy is absolutely red hot at the moment. But the question is if he has the quality to sustain that sort of form for an entire European season. I have seen quite a lot of him since the last world cup and am far from convinced. He reminds me of people like Schillaci who can have absolutely awesome tournaments and then fade when required to perform consistently over a season.

I dont know, i might be wrong, but I just dont think Klose has what it takes to replace Sheva. I rate all of our current strikers (with the exception of Amoroso) higher than him at present.

And that's not Klose's profile, you're right.
