Looking for a few good people!

Does anyone else think we need some new mods? I was looking over the list and found that around half weren't even active anymore Bodat, Goirre, Henrik, RIO, and maybe even Giovanni, at least temporarily. At least triniman is back. If anyone supports me then I will name my candidates later.

Vadim, you are not wrong that some, for various reasons, are not as active.
I think its ok to look out for members willing to help out in any way possible and we should consider those who can be active.

Vadim, Rez and I have had this conversation several times in the past 2 months, so yes, we totally agree. I'd be interested in your nominations.

I also have to say right up front that there seems to be something wrong with members doing the nominating b/c too often we'll make a nominated member a mod and....poof...they vanish on us. We're looking for all sorts of solutions to a few recurring problems. At this point, the main thing to consider for a mod is that they are active! Also keep in mind things like are they level-headed in an argument, are they dedicated to this site....stuff like that....

Well, my first nomination would be SANT. He is definetely active, I've never seen him burst out at anyone and he is also a great poster. He would be my first choice. I would also nominate Jim_UK, Stezagud, and Jeff, for the same reasons that apply to SANT. Zlatanov would also be a great choice but I think he gets in too many arguments to be a mod... sorry

Well, work on Jim_UK for me would you? I've approached him 2 or 3 times and he turns me down. I'd been thinking of Jeff already, and SANT as well.

i would say .. mk18 or SANT ..
both of them are very active here and their posts are just great .. specially sant's
, mk18 been very friendlier to everybody since i was registred here
so IMO one of these 2 guys should be mod. here

SANT has my vote, hands down...Jim UK as well, but if he is reluctant, go with SANT.

Now I like SANT. Keep in mind that I still think Zlat should be considered too. So what if he gets into arguments. I've had arguments with members, mods, and the admins all alike. Zlat earns some merit IMO. Sant too.

but of course I am open to discussing others. Main objective here is people who are dedicated to this site and who are fairly active. (by active I don't mean HOURS every day spent here or responding to EVERY post, but who come by daily or maybe every 2 or 3 days)

Well, yes, you do lay down your share BUT...you are very respected among the members and I'd like to give you a try as mod.

C'mon Kui, don't be affradi to "use thunder"...
