Bad news. Ronnie wants out of Old Trafford. What is worse he is heavily linked with Real []. I wish he join any other team just not Real.. or he can go there only for more than £30 mio.

The only guy I see who can replace him properly is Lennon. I wonder if we get huge amount of money form Ronnie transfer we can affort to sign both Spurs stars - Lennon & Carrick. If so, this summer could become one of the greatest in our transfer history

We usually dont make our moves until the last few weeks of pre-season so dont expect much soon. I do hope we get Carrick as he would be a great signing for us, we have missed a player of his ability to find passes from midfield and im sure he knows he will struggle to break into the England squad simply because Spurs are not one of the elite sides, at Utd he would be a genuine contender to break the imbalanced gerrard-Lampard axis.

I dont know if we can get Lennon as his value will have skyrocketed from the £5m we offered in January. I would be very happy if we were to sign him to replace Ronaldo as he understands the meaning of 'end product' he has the tricks and pace but doesnt do them simply to show off...

I hope we get Carrick too. Spurs are so stupid if they think they will hold us to ransom (£20 Million). Carrick will say he wants to leave and then £14 Million should do it in my opinion.

Just to tell you, besides Inter, ManU is my favourite club. I love tham very much (not more than Inter). Anyway, I just hope they can stick by C Ronaldo, he is said he'll stay for the next season.

I just heard that Michael Carrick is at Old Trafford RIGHT NOW. It's not a reliable source but I hope it is true and is not just a wind up.

Whats so good about Carrick he's not world class guys ive seen him a few times for spurs and in the world cup for england where hargraves outshined him, he will get you 1 goal a season and play a 5 yard pass to the next man(giggs) for 20 mil thats a stupid transfer

Carrick is the best passer in England and is one of the few players around who can do Pirlo's deep playmaking role, in fact at times last season he was probably doing it better when you consider he was Spurs best player by a mile and Pirlo spent most of the season being castigated by MM posters for not doing enough

Hargreaves got the England role simply because he is an agressive midfield tackler (something Utd also lack) and as Sven couldnt bear the thought of dropping one of his big 3 (Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham) he couldnt afford to put Carrick in with them.

It turns out it wasn't at all a reliable source, oh well!
