And even if Kaka wanted to leave, Milan wouldn't sell him. That's the club's new policy, remember?

Point made, nuff said...again, I said it in the midst extreme anger...and in retrospect, I can appreciate his position...just wanted a scapegoat I guess...my apologies.

For me however, it would be stupid for UEFA to not permit us to play in the UCL next season, and still allow us to play the UEFA Cup...so it remains to be seen what action they will ultimately take.

Come the 25th, or maybe even Sat or Monday, we should have further details on this..

Ahh what an injustice!!

Well... what we have picked is not in fact the lightest of punishments, but at least we managed to remain on Serie A...

BTW: let's stop that silly buzz about Kaká, the guy just said that he'll leaves if we were relegated, and since we're still on Serie A, he's gonna stay with us, end of conversation.

But yes, I agree he didn't say he WOULD leave, but that he COULD.

Kaka never said he is leaving. Don't over react

Even without CL, I think Milan is still good enough to attract players such as Buffon, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Oddo and Sasuo. Since they are players who want to be in Milan. And Frankly, I think the -15 pts is no big thing, Milan will win and shows the world the even if all the cards are against them, they will over come them and claim victory. Thats the Milan Mentality and players know that.

Milan will come back next year stronger, better and more determine to win Series A and Coppa Cup.

So guys and gals, it simply Serie A, next season.
I was down after hearing the news, but we can still win Serie A next season.
Forza Milan, we'll be back!
Not exactly what I have heard of. Here is a communication from sports.it

----------------------------

---------------------------------

I have to admit that my understanding is based of automatic translations. If I didn't get it wrong, Rossi stated that the first sentence will come effective immediately, unlike some sentences might only be enforced after appeals are finalized, and if second sentences that address the appeals are not delivered in time, ie. before the UEFA deadline July 25, the european competition seats would be handed out according to the first sentence, even the clubs won their appeals and are acquitted.

And here is a reponse on uefa.com addressing the verdicts:

-----------------------------
Deadline set

The Italian Football Federation has been set a 25 July deadline by UEFA to submit the list of teams from Italy eligible to participate in the 2006/07 club competitions. UEFA's Executive Committee issued a reminder at its meeting in Berlin on Tuesday that in accordance with FIFA and UEFA statutes, disciplinary cases should be dealt with by the appropriate decision-making bodies within the sporting structure.

'Full trust'

"We have full trust in the Italian FA," said UEFA communications and public affairs director William Gaillard. "They will give us the list of clubs by 25 July, we will take it and accept it as it is."
----------------------------------------

In my understanding, UEFA is not against that clubs go for appeals, but they are *strongly* (coz they mentioned that a couple of times) against turning to ordinary courts or even EU court for solution, but I don't think Milan is so desperately as risking itself with that way.

Furthermore, I think UEFA hinted that they would not furthurly punish the charged teams (ok, it is just Milan here) by ruling them out of europa in the coming season even they might still qualify for UCL or UEFA with points docked. (by saying "take it as it is")

Therefore my best hope is that Milan can get a timely response for the second sentence, which shrink the point deduction of past season to 36 or less, which means we can still clinch the UCL, and new season to less then 10, which would significantly make our live easier to stay among the league title hunters.

Please also be noted that Milan's official communication states that "The text of the decision will hardly be made available, in the certainty that the provision will become radically modified in the appeal court, with the acknowledgment of the absolute correctness of the acts of the club." Let's hope it is not just some bluffing to calm the supporters.

What's all the commotion about? Not happy at the cost to watch Juve go down? Expensive. Way too expensive.

I still won't believe and accept that Milan is worthy of such a severe punishment based on such an equivocal evidence.

can someone translate this? From official website:

more on official website.
