This organisation is the probably the best one regarding corruption in countries and various indices.

The most recent Italian scandal was this one:
Parmalat (Europe's biggest dairy company)

As i remember some of you said that we might loose five more points from the points we won in the last Scudetto. An Italian mass media say that may be the new verdict and also Fiorentina and Lazio in Seri A with about -10 points from the new season and a decrease in Juve punsiment from -30 to -20. We will see, i wish that to not happen because Milan then will be the team misjudged by the decision.

Go Milan Real offers 55 million euros for Kaka but we must not sell him. My team PAOK Thessaloniki has big financial problems but reject an offer of 1.4 euro fro our best player Dimitris Sal***gidis.

Viva la Grecia, PAOK for ever, FORZA Milan

APPEALS

They began this morning. Anyone have any idea of the running order ? Which team appeals first ? Do they all appeal at once ?? I guess it's pretty unlikely this will be over quickly, so i'm expecting it to drag out again.

Milanmania should have a court representative, where's Dragana when you need her ? She talks like a bazillion languages, she could be our intrepid reporter

Calciopoli appeal begins
Saturday 22 July, 2006
The Calciopoli appeals trial has begun this morning as the four clubs found guilty of sporting fraud attempt to overturn their punishments.

Juventus, Fiorentina, Lazio and Milan were all found to have committed irregularities in relation to the assignment of referees and linesman during the 2004-05 campaign.

Giants Juventus were the most heavily hit as they were stripped of their last two titles, demoted to Serie B and handed a massive 30-point penalty.

The Old Lady are using the appeal to have that point deduction reduced as much as possible in order to give them any chance of winning instant promotion back to Serie A.

The other three clubs are all aiming to be cleared of all charges by starting the next campaign in the top flight with no penalties.

At present, Fiorentina and Lazio have been assigned to the Second Division with a deduction of 12 and seven points respectively.

Milan kept their place in the top tier, but were kicked out of the Champions League and given a 15-point setback for the 2006-07 campaign.

Today’s trial kicked off at 9am local time at the Parco dei Principi Hotel in Rome, the same venue where the first grade sentences were delivered.

It’s unclear when Piero Sandulli, the President of the appeals court, will hand out his court’s verdict.

FIGC chief Guido Rossi is hoping for an outcome before July 25 which is the deadline that UEFA have set to be handed the names of Italy’s European competitors.

As it stands, Inter, Roma, Chievo Verona and Palermo will all take part in the European Cup after the omission of Juve, Milan and Fiorentina.

Although the appeal sentence should in theory be the definite verdict, there is the possibility that clubs could go and seek justice in the civil courts if still not satisfied with the outcome.

Lets hope we win the appeal and things go back to normal....

We want all the punishments to be thrown out.

We want complete acquittal as do Fio, Lazio.

My friends,

Awaiting for the final verdict on the appeal we knew that there are some important things happened at Milan Headquarters.
It was said that Milan had rejected 40mio Pounds from Real Madrid and also a huge fortune pounds from Chelsea! Also that Braida said that it is no need to be in a hurry to sign new players before they understand what will be the final verdict from Corte Federale as the hughest court on sporting justice although the door for further appeal is not totally closed if the clubs being sentenced still do not happy with the final verdict from Corte Federale...what a big mess in the Italian Law ...????

So, as I said before that Buffon still can wait for the final verdict and also the others as I believe that Milan Management aren't that foolish not to take action on the mercato.
Most important thing isthat they are so clear and firm that Kaka IS NOT FOR SALE !!!
The hungry Condor alike Chelsea and Real Madrid could just suck their thumbs to hear this frim statement from Ariedo Braida!! Bravo Signor Braida !!!

Let us now wait for the result of Milan's and others' appeal...to be decided by the Corte Federale..maybe earliest on Monday..??

Exactly, here we talk about millions so its reason to write the word. As far as the bus here in Greece the bus ticket costs 60 cents
