They are a number of English players that could be very useful to Milan. I won't name them all, but it's a mistake to discount them.

Maldini, while a legend, is getting older and it'd be better for him to sub right now than start. We should get a new left back, but I'm unsure of Ashley Cole. He seems to flashy to me, and not enough substance. If he kept his mind on football, I'm sure he'd do fine.

there is hardly any chance to sign Ashley Cole with Chelsea involved plus I have never seen any English player shining in Italy. Not to be dreaming our targets are: Buffon, Torres, Gallas and Diarra = BP 60 millions.
