This guy could bring much needed versatility to our midfield. I would really enjoy seeing him play for Milan.

His versatility is the key issue, there's a large difference between being able to play in different positions and being able to perform in different positions.

Brocchi is a great example of this. He can do the defensive midfield role well, this is his best position and he can play right-back but he can't perform there as it's an alien role to him.

Maxi on the other hand could easily perform in 3 positions in our current formation (Seedorf, Kaka & second striker). This true versatility is a valuable attribute and would majorly benefit us.

If it happens I would be happy, it would be interesting who would leave if this came through.

i guess Vogel or Ambrosini would be the ones to leave ... depending on how many midfielders we get. Although Maxi could just be replacing Rui-Costa.

Jankulovski, Simic, Boriello, Amoroso, Kalac, Dida, Favalli ... i guess these would be the other candidates for leaving depending on who else arrived.

he's amazing, and were we a complete squad I'd be praying for this move.

but we're not complete, we need more defensive midfielders, defenders and of course, that striker.

Defensive midfilder, defenders (RB/CD) and stikers. Totally in favour of Maxi. He not only can replace Pirlo but Gattuso playing at the highest level.

I don't want Ambrosini to leave either savage mau, but we have to face the fact that when he's fit, he doesn't get alot of start time. So if we did get Maxi and/or another midfielder, Ambrosini's start time would be even less.

He's a fantastic servant to the club and he could have left many times, but has always stayed with us. But we have to be fair to him, he does deserve to be playing for someone.

mzk57 is an unknown quantity at this point

Maxi Rodrigues scored a dream goal in World Cup, very good, but it doesn't mean that he is of AC Milan's standard A better choice would be Pablo Aimar who could make a serious destructive partnership with Kaka playing just behind our lone striker Ronaldo

Pablo Aimar have already changed clubs this summer. He left Valencia for Real Zaragoza, for 11 million Euros.

Maxi would be more beneficial to us than Aimar. He scores more goals, is more versatile and has strength, something Aimar does not have. I don't see why Aimar is Milan standard and Maxi isn't.

Besides, if you kept up to date you'd see (like Arildonardo has shown you) that he's already moved on so we won't get him anyway.
