Of course it's not what we would like to see, but I'm pretty sure he didn't do it on purpose. I've seen other great players make mistakes and not retire right afterwards... And it's better to do them now when we were through anyway, than later in the group stages.

Nice game, even though Billy made a few errors, luckily for us, only one resulted in a goal.

Gilardino: What does he have to do to score? Could have scored, but Pippo got to the ball first..(as usual), not a bad game overall, showed some skill and pace...he will break his duck sooner, rather than later.

Seedorf: Good goal, not a bad all round game

Kaka: Somehow wasnt into the match early, but when he started dropping back for the ball, came more and more into the game...the 2nd goal was all him (apart from Seedorf´s finish)

Pippo: What can be said about Super Pippo except: WELL DONE!

Cafu and Serghino: Not a bad game from both, but too casual when in posession, and too casual when we lost the ball...Cafu a little winded, good sub by Carlo.

Dida: Solid. No complaints, came when he had to, stayed when he had to, couldnt really save that goal...

Gattuso: Never stopped running, nice (though deflected) cross for the goal...truly a champion

Simic: Not a bad game, not sure we should sell this player, moved into RB when Cafu came off, looked solid.

Billy: Sheesh! Age definately showed here...needs to retire asap...apart from his several errors, calm, cool, just maybe a tad overconfident? Whatever it is, I hope this game proved to management that we cant go a whole season with him in the squad, without reinforcements.

Pirlo: MOM, for me...few mistakes, if any, pin point passing...brilliant in defense...top class.
