Since you wrote that i've been thinking about why it is so "Out of this world" for an Englishman to support an Italian team. I can't see any valid reason why one person's support should be different from another persons just because of where they live.

I would like you to explain this further to me.

Hey chill out; if Jim supports the 'dull' Liverpool than I'm supporting the 'what's that' Sheffield Wednesday (umm... I know the city rival is in Premiership while)

Milan first, Milan last. No player most important. But I like most about Milan's philosophy; you play to win, but also (hopefully) entertain at the same time. I am also pleased with the transfer policy (at least until last year). We are not some spending spree who got nothing done at the end (oops..)

Hang on though Debs it's not Brits he's talking about, it's English people. By the sounds of it, other people from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and i would assume the Republic of Ireland are all ok to support an Italian team.

Easy one - like players because of AC Milan. Proof of that is in the fact that Francesco Coco was one of my favourite players till he joined Inter and I flew in to a rage and started to despise him. I feel very negatively about the Sheva transfer as well even though I don't hate Sheva.

I also dislike Zlatan and Gallas but would have had to change my mind if they moved to Milan (former is not going to clearly).

Anyway - point is....I may have initially been drawn to Milan because of Maldini, Baresi, Van Basten etc...but as of this moment in time my alliance is to the club not the players.

I'll always have a soft spot for Luther Blissett, Brncic, Pablo Garcia, Jose Mari, Contra, Umit, Ibou "Bibimus" Ba, Sam Dalla Bona, Roby Baggio, Ruud Gullit, Albertini, the Gallis, Gre-No-Li, Gianni Rivera, Cesare and Paolo Malidini, Sheva, Kala, Vogel and Yoan Gourcuff. No matter what, since they played for Milan. However, when they were actually wearing the red and black, I LOVED them. I think that describes my opinion on the present question.
