i don't understand the comments about Tevez's attitude... the coach is basically anti-Argentina... plus the fans kicked his car when his wife & kids are in it... so i can comprehend his reaction of wantin' to leave... along with his AWOL... and you guys should thank me for the Ronaldo snub by our management... i wrote a few letters to them indicatin' how gettin' Ronaldo would be a joke...

Another 'tricky' argument that I fail to understand... Ronaldo's admirers love to say tha he's a 'proven' Serie A striker... hmmm, I guess those must think about something that exists since the beggining of the Universe: TIME. Yes, my friends, time passes, and it's totally IRREVERSIBLE. So Ronaldo once WAS a Serie A 'proven' striker, but after tons and tons of injuries and his increasingly lazyness and bad habits, it's overwhelmingly doubtful that he can turn again into he once was.

Finally, if one is mad enough to ignore the simple fact that time passes, why not sign Altafini, for instance? He once was one of the most 'proved' Serie A strikers of all times!

Whether some of use like it or not, I think Ronaldo’s arrival is imminent. When a player expresses his desire to leave and the club are willing to sell, it becomes only a matter of time before that happens.

Let’s take a look at a recent transfer for evidence. Gilardino – how many times did Galliani say “our offer and their demand are miles apart”?

Again I will just state…I have no problem with Ronaldo’s girth. My reservations are more to do with his dodgy knees.

After Ronaldo, I think we will make a determined effort for Buffon, notwithstanding his claims of fidelity to Juve.

You know what, Gre-no-li? Everybody thought Baggio was finished when he left Milan too. He was 30 years old and coming off two straight mediocre (for him) seasons. Everybody thought he was ready to just fade off into the sunset. But the following year he scored 22 goals for Bologna and beat out Del Piero for a starting spot in Italy's 1998 World Cup team. Sometimes a change of scenery and situation can do wonders in turning back that clock a bit. So why don't we just wait and see, first, if Milan buys Ronaldo (which I doubt because of the current relationship between the clubs) and, second, how he performs after he gets to Milan (if he does)?

Rick:

There's an ocean of differences between Baggio and The Whale:

Baggio was a model professional.

Ronaldo is a lazy primadonna.

I will answer just to see if you are satisfied:

Altafini 68 years old
Ronaldo 29 years old

you said you would like Thierry Henry to replace Sheva...

Sheva 29 years old
Henry 29 years old...

Same as Ronaldo...

Happy?

Age is not the problem with Ronaldo, not at all.

don't compare Baggio to Ronaldo... Baggio has drive in him... despite a terrible injury... he came back much earlier than expected & did well for Brescia in the last few games to try & get a place in the WC squad... as for Ronaldo... he had ages to lose weight before the WC... but guess what? he never lost much weight if he had lost any to start with...

Right, I said I didn't want to have to intervene earlier. Both Zlat and Grenoli have brought personal arguments into the thread.....again. I have deleted these posts, don't do it again.

I just described the problems that Tevez create in one year here...Why Mascherano didn´t had problems?? Even Sebá, that is playing horrible , and didn´t had a problem w/ Corinthians supporters...
Tevez is a BIG primmadona, that was mad at the coach just for to lose tha status of captain(status imposed by MSI), and leave his teammates behind when Corinthians most needs(nearly to be relegated) to go to a night club in Argentine...no, Tevez will not be to cancer

That's completely immaterial to my point.

1ş) The coach don´t like argies, you right...but the coach also said that in his team, you only need to play good football, and everything is well...and Tevez was a starter, and just lose the captain status. The coach is right, the guy fights w/ half of the teammates, and can´t said a word in portuguese...What type of captain is this guy??

2ş) I´m not saying that to kick the car was right(Corinthians Ultras are crazy idiots), but Tevez was who created the situation. First, go to Argentine and didn´t play the derby against Palmeiras(imagine Tevez going for Argentina before Milan x Inter derby??). Second, in the next game, after scoring a goal, just go to ordered all the Corinthians supporst shut up!!! Tell me, how many times Crespo was booed by our Ultras?? And the guy never made a class less gesture to our fans...
Can you imagine what can happen if Tevez to make this in San Siro against ULTRAS???

I won't claim to be an expert to the topic as I don't have any background information.. but I totally agree with putting his finger to his lips. I don't see that as disrespect to the fans. Especially after the kicking of the car. You boo the guy.. he scores and shuts you up. I agree with his celebration.

Well, you seem to know him a lot more than I do so I have nothing to say.

Oh, and Mascherano had trouble twice during the same week. With Carlos Alberto and Marcelinho Carioca. He is another cancer, but I wont say it until you do so. You clearly know them better...
