Ronaldo>>>>>Robinho and will always be. Pele picks robinho and a bunch of other losers because he realized that Ronaldo has raped most of his records and that if by chance Ronaldo gets into WC 2010, he will eclipse him in every imaginable way.

As for Ronaldinho vs Kaka, I'd give ronaldinho the edge in terms of individual talent, but keep in mind that Kaka is still younger. Also Ancelotti has to trust Kaka with free-kicks. I know he can hit them. Carlo is soooo stubborn and insists that Pirlo and Seedorf get them (?) Many of Ronnie's goals came from free-kicks but what you don't see are the tons that he misses...and badly too. Kaka is more like Zidane with speed while Ronnie is more like Maradonna with a right foot

Ronaldo is obviously a better goal scorer than Robinho, there's no doubt about that. But on current form Robinho should be in the team ahead of Ronaldo. Brazil looked so much more threatening without Ronaldo or Adriano.

You´re right, Jim...
To compare Ronaldo w/ Robinho makes no sense...but, the truth is that right now, Robinho and Kaka are the most important players for Brazil NT. Right now, Ronaldo is out of the squad(Dunga is looking for a Ronaldo sucessor, and will also wach Luis Fabiano Sunday), and Ronaldinho isn´t a starter.
It´s incredible how much prejudice people have for Robinho. This kid isn´t a finish product yet, but no other brazilian player(Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ronaldo) achieve so much in Brazil before go to Europe. Even Ronaldinho...

1) Ronaldo and robinho are both strikers the role of a striker is to score goals. robinho has scored 8 in his last nearly 40 matches for real. Granted he plays in a more withdrawn role, but you can't seriously think that's a good average
2) stop complaining about his age already kaka/ronaldo have achieved far more in Europe by this age. Ronaldo won world player of the year TWICE by 21, Robinho is 22, when is he going to 'mature'? I smell another Cassano
3) Ronaldo- hate him all u want STILL SCORED THREE GOALS IN THE WC. How much did Robinho score. Even fourth choice striker Fred got one. This is not to say that his abitities are unappreciated or that he doesn't contribute to he game. He often is very influential, but Sheva, Raul, ADP are also support strikers and their tallies were ususally decent i.e 10+ golas
4) Wht can Riobinho bring to milan with his featherweight frame? Materazzi only has to sneeze and his season is out!

Robinho AND Ronaldo have nothing to do in Milan. First one is too light , other one is slow, and fat, and out of shape. Kaka' is right now better even than Ronaldinho, just look at the way this man runs, moves around the field, switches sides - brilliant. Ronaldinho cries for every single foul they make on him, its disgusting. To even think about changing Kaka' for Ronaldinho is a horrible idea, I just pray we will never do that. Remember people, this is serie a, phisically the toughest league in the world, and there is no room for players that just want do joggle and dribble the ball around. ( except for Pirlo )

You seem to be missing the point drucurl, as of right now Robinho is of greater importance to the Brazil national team than Ronaldo because he makes them more threatening and plays for the team.

It's not about comparing what they've done in the past, that's irrelevant, what matters is picking the best 11 and at this moment Robinho is there and deserves his place over Ronaldo or anyone else.

Would Brazil have been so threatening against Argentina with Ronaldo up front? No. Nowhere near as threatening. When and if Ronaldo gets some form and fitness back then you can discuss who should be there on merit. But again, as of right now Robinho wins this hands down.

As for what Robinho would bring to Milan, he'd bring pace, dynamism, creativity and make defenders fear us. He'd give us options and versatility. Yeah he's not a prolific front player, but then i'm sure what he doesn't score he could well make up for with assists. I also don't buy this "he's too light" argument and "he can't hack it". What a load of rubbish. The guy got knocked from pillar to post in Brazil and he's ok, plus the defenders would have to catch him first!

Finally, mrki who's said they want to replace Kaka with Ronaldinho? I don't think 1 member has said that would be a good idea.

Jim, you misunderstud me, I only said to would be a bad idea to ,for example, sell Kaka' to get money for ronaldinho. Which could be done by our managment in order to get Ronaldinho. Im not saying it will happen, im just saying it could happen. But never mind this...

Robinho , as I believe, is only a great dribler with few assists and way too many unneeded touches and mooves, AND way overrated player. I dont want him at Milan,. but things are always wide opet to proove me wrong. So this is just my oppinion. He is a same player like C.Ronaldo, great player to watch on TV playing for another team, but his controbution to the real game that needs to be as affective as possible is in doubt. I'd rather invest some time in Di Gennaro or Gourcuff to assist some, plus play good tactical football, than see Robinho rolling the ball untill he gets tired of it.

1) 8 goals for a winger in the first year in Europe is that bad?? Ok...

2) Complaining about his age??? You miss my point...BTW, Robinho is being(also Kaka) a leader for Brazil right now, and for the majority of us(brazilians) Robinho is is the absolute starter of Brazil NT. What a said is that Robinho has things to improve in his game, as Ronaldinho and kaká...and as every other player, if I´m not wrong will only reach its maturity at 29...

3)Hate Ronaldo?? I just said that right now, Ronaldo isn´t a choice for Brazil, and this is the truth. You´re being unfair, or maybe you´re just a Robinho hater for to say that because the didn´t score in WC his abilities are unppreciated?? Robinho(even playing few minutes) was one of the few players that are praised here in Brazil after the WC, and 99% of brazilians wants the guy as starter. But, maybe you´re right w/ this "hate Robinho" thing, and we(99% of brazilians) are wrong...

4) You think that to play against Materazzi is a problem for Robinho?? A problem is to play against defender in Libertadores and Brazilian championship south clubs(like Gręmio, Internacional, Juventude). This argument is just one more preconception...

I don´t agree, mrki...but this is a good post. Robinho was a dribler in the begining of his carrer in Brazil when it was brazilian champion. But the guy works hard and improved his game.
You´re have the right to not wants the kid in Milan. But just wach Brazil x Argentine game, and you will se that he´s far for just a dribler...

Do you know that the fastest players in real Madrid anytime they do speed training are in the following order for e.g the 100m:
1)Robero Carlos (low 10's) 2)Ronaldo (high 10's) 3)Cicchino (low 11's) 4)Robinho

so saying ronaldo is slow is just what the anti-ronaldo press have been feeding you

You are right. I concede. I think of him more as a striker than a winger hence my contention. But if you think of him as a striker then you win. However all his teams has him down as a striker.....but then again most teams have ronaldino as a striker too

you misunderstood me as well. At 22, I expect a lot from someone who is mentioned in the same breath as Ronaldo. I was pointing out that in terms of accomplishments both in terms of awards and abilities he's waaay behind Ronaldo @ 22

please explain this I don't get your point. Robinho was never anything special so far of what I've seen. But I guess you brazilians have seen way more of him than me. All I can speak of are the performances that I see and Frankly I'm not impressed. Half the side could do what he does IMO, but to be as prolific as Ronaldo is another thing. Oh and ronaldo's out because Dunga says so. The same Dunga who hadn't called up Kaka and Ronaldinho only until he saw how plain Brazil was without them. My guess is that when his back is against the wall again he will come to ronaldo on bended knee

sometimes there is a fair deal of truth in stereotypes. I think south america has the best attacking players just as I think the Italians are the best in defending. Tradditionally they have been the best and fiercest. Can you think of any brazilian that's better than Canna-Nesta-Zambrotta-Grosso?
It would be like finding better attackers than ronaldo-ronaldinho-kaka-robinho
