Jeff if you didn't watch the game how do you know his red card was justified. So just because he got a red card we shouldn't be interested in him now? Does that apply to all players for us? If it does we won't have many to choose from.

I don't believe Torres is some sort of super player, but he's far from an average player. At 22 he's still learning and developing and his loyalty to Atletico Madrid is something to be valued.
Even if he is better than gilardino, which he is not, he wont be coming here, cause he is Spanish.

you're the only one comparing him to Gilardino, plus why are you so adament that just because he is Spanish he won't come here?

Have you watched either player? They are FAR from each other in playing style.

Gilardino is a player that always stay central and is more of a target man and finisher.

Torres is more of a player that likes to collect and run with the ball and likes to break the offside trap. If anything he is closer to Inzaghi than Gilardino, but like most other players he is himself
