Manish, while i admire your enthusiasm, you really need to pay more attention to what's going on around you. That and doing some research for yourself into who Milan have bought this summer.

Well, just educated myself on the touchline "spat" between Carlo and Clarence, and I honestly found it amusing, and with the show the media has made of it, I expect to see the Dutchman on the field vs Lille...

Yes, I said on the pitch, because Carlo, after the newspapers have quoted him as wishing he could "sub" Seedorf, will surely see the wisdom of starting him, so as to prevent any further disruption?

Then again, he might bench the former Holland international..who knows? The point is for me though, that hopefully this can be put behind the two men, and we can continue doing what we are supposed to do...win games.

2 points in the league table is not pretty, and with a game on Wednesday, we are under even more pressure to win..

The good thing is that I believe Lille will attack at home, which will give us more space...I just hope Carlo doesnt field Rino and Ambro together...we lose too much creatively with those quasi-defenders on the pitch.

No predicitons, as we may well drop points here, hopefully if we do, we will only drop 2...on the other hand, we are a class above Lille, and I hope we prove this on Wednesday.

We'll probably see a Gourcuff - Brocchi/Rino - Pirlo - Kaka midfield on wedneaday.

Lille got pummled this weekend by Lyon. Im not sure what happened because they have had a really good record against the Champions recetly. I think they even got the double over them last season.

They are opponents wh need to be respected, but I do question the fire power up front. The strikers they have up front are good, but Im not sure how many goals they have in them. Then again Lille fans might be able to say something along those lines abour our strikers.

Its Gourcuff's homecoming tomorrow so I expect him to be all over them or totally quiet and I do think he will start. Im just preying that Gila will register and Oli will turn out a good performance if he starts. Honestly though, I cant see how Carlo can afford to drop Pippo who is our main goal threat.

The squad Carlo picked for Livorno (with a couple of changes) should get us through France. Carlo just should have waited to put that eleven people on the pitch till Lille, but I understand it was tough for him to hold back that much

We need to win this game which will give us some room to relax in the CL and focus more on the league. I am confident we can beat the French.

What is the Milan Lab doing? We can't afford too many injuries. If they are not feeling well yet, don't play them. If Ancelotti didn't have to make those two forced substitutes, maybe we could have done better (at least a little bit? at least Gilardino could come in?) against Livorno?

Makes no sense discussing the past. For Lille, I do expect at least a two-goal margin win. Gourcuff should and will play, Seedorf will rest, not because of his spat with Ancelotti though. Gilardino and Pippo will play up front and hopefully Gilardino will break his 'curse'.

Hi Guys !

Our team seems in a pretty bad shape these last days ! (lost against toulouse and Lyon badly)
One explanation: We were forced to play the League cup whereas Lyon and bordeaux were exempted because they play the champions league
wel why not Lille ? Because we qualified for it.
So then we are forced to align at least 7 players on the field for both cup and championship in two following matches. Our coach has then aligned the B team against Toulouse. Now we have lost some players in this cup (including our keeper !). In brief the game against Lyon has suffered from it.
So we are still OK for now. Seriously Lille has never lost in CL on a home game so I just smile when I read a "2 goal difference for Milan"
If the keeper plays I expect a revolt in the team.

That's quite an arrogant thing to admit. Why do you expect this? How many here expected at least a 2 goal margin of victory against Livorno and Ascoli? Judging from the serie a prediction league, quite a high percentage 'expected' a clear victory yet we couldn't do this.

To me (and this is in general not just against you Xudong) people who say 'we'll win by such an amount' and 'we've already progressed through the group stages', etc, are just being arrogant and lack respect for the other team.

Lille was trashed 1-4 by Lyon.
I have a feeling that they didn't field their 1st team in that match but prepare them for the match against Milan.

Milan were actually planned to do the same and that's why Carletto fielding the like of Favalli, Ambro and the "unfit" Maldini and not even Kaka (who forcedly subbed Maldini), Pirlo, Cafu and the other proven winning players.

It is very clear that Carletto put the CL as his Prime target this season due to the points deduction.
So, let us now support our beloved Milan to shine not only in CL but also in the Serie A as the league still have 34 matches to go and thus mean that Milans till have time to catch Inter and Roma. I do not put Palermo as a scudetto candidate as last night they loose to Empoli and so will again to many other team in future.

Cant believe I miss this match again...Work this time...but hey..mayb I will catch a replay or something...(going to G. Cayman for work)
