Milan v Siena - Sunday October 1st
The final match before the international break and we really need to finish this mini part of the season with a little flourish. Disappointing performances against Ascoli at home and Livorno away have led to some discontent amongst fans and arguments between players and coach. This could develop further depending on the result and the way we play tonight against Lille in the Champion's League.
The International break will be a good time for some of our less crocked players to try and get some fitness in them. Nesta, Kaladze, Maldini, Cafu, Favalli, Ambrosini, Oliveira and Gourcuff could all benefit from some extra training, while Serginho's rehabilitation will hopefully continue with positive results. The only real worry during the International break is the involvement of Kaka in the Brazil matches. He really needs to rest and i hope Dunga will use him sparingly in the upcoming friendlies. Back to Siena and from their first 4 games they've got 7 points (2 wins, a loss and a draw), most recently drawing 0-0 with Cagliari. They aren't filled with stars, but Chiesa is an obvious name who can still cause trouble in his golden years. Frick is also a man to keep an eye on. With a solid team and a good performance, we should be able to gain the 3 points. However, we all know it's never quite as easy as it should be.

I just want to see Kaka' on the bench so he can rest. But looks like gourcuff is injured so we could have some problems with resting kaka'. If Gattuso and Ambrosini play together again I'll be really angry.

I don't think we are going to see that Mrki. What we will probably see is Brocchi on the field which means that one of Ambro or Gattuso will sit. Unless Carlo opts for a Ambro - Brocchi - Gattuso midfield.
Dida - Cafu - Nesta - Kaladze - Jankulovski - Brocchi - Pirlo - Ambrosini - Seedorf - Gilardino - Oliveira I wish Kaka could play now and not for Brazil, but I don't know if that's going to happen. If that's possible then we can play Seedorf in stead of Ambro or Brocchi. He'll get to rest after this game anyway since he is not playing for Holland.

I second Mrki's thoughts. Kaka really needs to have a breather. But we can't really blame Carlo either as he doesn't have that many backups to fill in Kaka's shoes. Furthermore Gourcuff is out so that completely eliminates the possibility of Kaka not playing.
As far as Ambro and Gattuso playing together is concerned I'm a firm believer that this will bear no fruits whatsoever. Of the top of my head I remember we played this formation in our away game against PSV in the semis of Champ. League last season. We all know how that ended. I don't think we'll be using be the X-mas tree formation in this match keeping in mind the criticism that came our way after the last couple of matches. So i'd prefer to ive Gila and Pippo partnership another chance as I'm still not assured of Oliveira's skills as a striker. Maybe he needs a bit more time to adapt to Serie A and gel into the team properly. In the meantime he can play a sub role while giving Gila the time to rediscover his proven scoring touch at least in Serie A. |

well resting kaka is the most important thing since i believe he will play with brazil.
no x-mas tree, lot of our players dont like this formation(kaka, seedorf) and with gourcuff out of the picture it wuld be a very hard game. so with kaka and gourcuff out i see things this way:- --Gila----Pippo ----Seedorf--- -Ambro------- ------Gattuso ---Pilrlo------ Janku----Cafu -Nesta--Khaka ----Dida----- douts with this formation unless dunga promeses to not use kaka...

You know that he might read MM. about the formation, I don't think Carlo will use X-tree. after all, this game will be at SAN SIRO. We will have to pummel the crap out of that Black and White team. No other options. ![]()

I think Milan can end this game 2-0 easily
after we draw to liverno 0-0 and Liel with the same result we need to win badly so the player returst them self this is best game to do that I reember last year we won to Seina 3-1 . Congert for Gila renewing conterat I have feeling that He'll trust him self again because of contract and score

SIENA (4-4-2): Manninger; Bertotto, Gastaldello, Rinaudo, Molinaro; Konko, D'Aversa, Vergassola, Candela; Locatelli, Frick I don't know if Lucarelli is injured or has lost his place, Frick is still someone to be watchful of though. No goals yet, just like all the other matches except Sampdoria v Parma, Parma have the lead there.
