Fantasy Signings: Players Milan Should Buy

I don't know who Lucas is, but Elano i do like. Cheaper options they would be for sure ... better options? That's questionable i think.

Certainly Elano could provide us with a creative midfield option.

Better, not because they are better than Deco etc, but good backups and prospects for the future. Regarding Lucas, he has the same ability as Marcelo, expect he is a midfielder that plays for Gremio, he got a callup in tha Brazil squad, and I assure you there will be a big hype soon abmong the big clubs in Europe- kinda like the intrest Anderson is attracting. He is only 18 or 19

It's a quandary isn't it. Do you go for the players that are better technically or for the players that won't cause as much disruption even though they might be slightly inferior??

Juninho i think would be ok as he's nearing the end of his career and maybe he'd be a little more accepting of a squad role at a bigger club, although equally i guess you could say he might also want as much first team football as he can get before he stops playing. Who'd be a manager!

we need some very good defensive midfielder but with some creative skils too,like vieira,edmilson....
our gattuso is very good in the defensive part,but he can't make a good pass to the attacker and attacking midfielders.and is too short for the high balls!

Marcelo is a great palyer only 18 yeras old!(we need him)
we need also a good young attacking full-back!Daniel alves is the best!
And if gila and oliveira don't start to score goals then....we need Huntelaar or Torres!

im really starting to question Galliani's and Berlusconi's plans. Are we preparing and risching all just to sign Ronaldinho?? Isnt that stupid?? Juve is close to sign Mascherano and they are in serie B! And we do need that kind of a player, actually Mascherano is so good he can play in any team in the world. We have done so much wrong things in this mercato I cant even start writing it ( Abiatti to Torino for what????? So we loose Zambrotta and Buffon?? ). Barca and Real are going for Gago, and they already have brilliant DM's like: Emerson,Diarra,Edmilson,Xavi,Iniesta,Marquez,Motta and so on....In our team Pirlo and Gattuso are world class DM's, Ambro, Brocchi are not. Seedorf is 30 and getting obviously slow( his carrer is really long, we cant expect him to play form age 17-32 in same tempo ). Flanks are slow also, that needs to be fixed. Maldini is 38, Billy 40, Serginho 34, Cafu 36, Pippo 33....people do get old and when they do....game is over. ( Except for Paolo the great...)

What are we planning? A Dynamo Kiev striker who is a backup for Rebrov? Prolonging Cafu's contract so we have THE BEST ATMOSPHERE in the training ground? Im not satisfied, and I know its early, but in the past 2 seasons we havent done good jobs in mercato, I hope we wioll do some proper and wise investments in our team. Without fast RB we cant play normal game as Rino is on the RM position. Transition is slow, attack in not tuned in, and so on....

marcelo is that kind of player-attacking LEFT-back.he is perfect.on the other side of the pitch-alves....and we will have the perfect defence(with one new CB ofcource)

as for these 5 players-you are dam right.i whant on their places-ronaldinho(not imposible) or trezeguet,gourcuff,marcelo,alves and buffon(amelia)

Abidal or Zambrotta (experience) and Marcelo or Pasquale (youth) ...

1 each of these two groups will see us set for the left-back role for a long time.

Likewise for the right.

we sold sheva for about 40m.euros!
We bought oliveira for about !15-17m.euros
The rest of money must go for daniel alves and marcelo!
i'm talking only from the money we get from sheva.
we had olso the transfer budget for the year 2006-2007+the other big moneys for new sponsor contract(bet and win)!
so money we got a lot,what are we waiting for?Why we dont buy players?

attacking problems come from the defence too.why?
because when the defence is weak,the midfielders help more in defence,and not enought in attack!!!
because,in the sistem 4-3-1-2, you must have very very good attacking backs,which we have not!!!and our flank attack is weak!!!
then, milan must buy first of all tree defenders:right,left and center backs!
imagine what we will do with this defence:
alves------nesta------chivu------marcelo

this is a valid point but I am not so sure it's true in Milan's case sinse we have created A LOT of goal-scoring chances in the last 3 games - apart from the 2nd half vs Livorno - and have failed to take them whether because our players were just too wasteful or because we've had goals disallowed.

You could add to this the Ascoli game as well - we had chances for 6-7 goals, instead won by 1-0 only ... don't think this is a case where the midfield is trying to cover for the defense and thus hampering the attack. It's more of our players being wasteful and lacking concentration in front of goal, something that's only a question of time IMO to change.

Still, like it or not, we'll have to make a small revolution in defense for next year with Paolo and Billy on the way out, along with Cafu and Sergio probably as well.

i like it,i like it a lot!i hope we will!!!
but my theory,less or a lot,it's true!i forgot that,the attack is weak too,and the midfielders try to help it more from the usual.

Apparently Capello wants Miguel in January, if not then next summer, to replace Cicinho. So we can more-or-less forget about Miguel, but it could leave the door open for Alves.
