SO INTER took over from Juve's place. I see what Karim meant by the "BIG THREE". Let me look..... Milan, Inter, Roma. Hmmmmm Looks like a weaker BIG THREE than from previous seasons. What do you think?

Milan will always compete for the CL. Inter is inter . Roma is still building up but they will be there in one or two seasons.

We're just throwing barbs at you Karim. LOL! Seriously though how many scudetto have Inter won in the past 15 years? I think Roma has one more than you. That is why I jokingly said they were part of the BIG THREE. LOL!

Well the past 15 years has been really really bad, but great clubs have their up times and down times, they don't take that much time like us but nevertheless they sometimes go down,

Arsenal had a huge season a few years back and then last year they were down to 4th and now they are starting to recollect

ManUtd were in face of relegating in 85 till Ferguson in 86 came and changed everything

Ahly went on for 7 years in a row to win the Egyptian league then went for 4 years without a league title then came back and is dominating for the past 2

The closest example I could find to Inter is Liverpool, the glory of the time pre-Premiership 1993 was GREAT then the 90's curse stroke hard and now they are struggling except for that one infamous CL final

I wonder how noone says a word about this :

Disgraced former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has been linked with a sensational return to the game at AC Milan.

Il Giorno says Moggi had a dinner meeting with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani on October 5 where a position at the San Siro was discussed.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is said to be keen to find a role for Moggi at the club.

Of course, it may not be true at all, but it's still interesting to discuss...

Newspaper "Il Giorno" came out with this news, and here you have a link :

I would hope this is all false. Unless Moggi has suddenly changed his ways, we don't need his trouble making.

Karim, Liverpool have been quite successful in the past 5 years, it's only in the league they've struggled.

Even if he changes his ways, his face and his mind, we still dont need him! Milan is not a place for such scumbags (we surely have enough of our own to take care of). At least i hope so...

My immediate answer Tony, would be that we didnt know about it...and I can say for sure this is news to me!

Further to that, how credible is "Il Giorno", and how is it that the Gazzetto for example, hasnt carried this story?

Today´s headlines, from channel4.com:

Quote:
Gazzetta dello Sport
Moratti: ‘President again’
‘Il Chino? A real genius is inconsistent. The interceptions? I’ll explain all’

Corriere dello Sport
Chelsea chase Buffon
Juve, there’s Barzagli
Inter and Adriano move even further apart
UEFA: Palermo, what an achievement

Tuttosport
‘The bull is Juventino’
Boniperti: ‘Taking it down is embarrassing, an insult to the city’
Look at Adriano
Further, tribalfootball is the worst source to quote..as they seemingly find news that no one else ever hears...consistently.

I put nothing past Uncle Berlu, but even he couldnt be this dense...

Personally...for me, seeing is believing.

Warro, these news came 4-5 days ago and maybe that's why you can't find this anywhere else (although i doubt you'd have found this anywhere else even 4-5 days ago)

I never ever thought this is true. Ok, maybe there really was a meeting ( Galiani and Moggi were both "rulers" of calcio in last years, and they are maybe friends who talked about non-football related stuff), but the last sentence of the text (about Berlusconi bringing Moggi to Milan) is just an assumption of some journalist eager to sell more papers.
I wanted to point the discussion in other way, not in "do we really need Moggi" way, and it is : Why would someone still go back to Calciopoli and want to put Juve, or in this case Milan, even deeper into s... ?

I mean, if the story is invented, as probably is, why do they say they saw Moggi with Galiani, not with Moratti or some other football club general director ?
Imo, this is an atempt to hurt Milan. With Juve gone, there's only one danger for "them". The danger is Milan, and i really think you'll see your club as a target in next years.
There was a penalty not given on Inzaghi and a handball by Kaladze on Sampdoria match.... well, i heard a lot about that handball and nothing about the penalty not given. This wasn't happening to Milan in past years but to Juve........ and again : Juve is gone, but it looks like there must be a replacement for them, and it looks to me it's going to be your club !

yup; it's going to be Milan, as it always is in Europe. Glory breeds jealousy.

Yeah, but jealousy normally leads to the "sour grapes" syndrome, or alternatively, the "greedy dog loses his bone" scenario....

Inter, perennial losers, will lose in this as well...
