I d agree with this statement in the following context: it s a lot easier to talk about mistakes, then fixing them in fact. But this forum here is made to discuss our opinions and what we see. We cannot do more than that. Maybe if some of us could really do something, Milan would win 5:0 every game. Same as it could be the opposite too. Dont say that none of us knows anything about football management. How the hell do you know that? Do you know us in person for 20 years already?

I'm not claiming that I do. And if members were noted pundits, they would most likely be directly involved with this club. I wont hold my breath on that one toots.

So what if Inzaghi has scored a couple of times when paired with Gilardino. Does that make it a successful partnership? No, of course not. Why don't you blame Inzaghi for not supplying chances to Gilardino? Why don't you blame Inzaghi for not making the movements that will allow Gilardino to make a clearer run on goal? A partnership shares the success and shares the failure.

Sorry to inform you, but on this instance, yes you are wrong Kui. I'll reiterate my point of view, i'm not saying that because people comment on tactics, line ups, players, transfers etc, that we are Serie A grade managers. I'm not even saying that we would know enough to manage a poor pub team. What i am saying is that by being subjected to wall to wall football from leagues all over the world, we can make informed ideas on said areas (tactics, line ups, etc).

We get views, reports, analysis (both written and spoken) from commentators, ex players and ex managers. We can play the game for years and learn the simple aspects of it at any level, we can go to actual games week in week out and pick up things by seeing it 'Live'. Wether you like it or not, it means we learn the smallest of insights into the game of football. All of this contributes to members being able to make educated comments about the game.

You're right, playing cowboys and indians as a kid doesn't make you a good cowboy. But don't forget that some people don't stop playing football after they are kids, they continue, they learn and they expand their individual knowledge. If you had continued to play cowboys and indians right up until this very day, had found an interest in it, had researched it, watched alot of factual material about it, i'd bet you'd have a much better idea of what a cowboy is now than you did when you were a kid.

Kui, you don't have to be a noted/recognised expert on a subject to have an informed opinion. Sure you won't have the depth of knowledge the experts have, but you will know a few basics.

Did Gila score at end? im sure i saw him score from a pirlo freekick or was it ruled out? Pippo was hard done by tugged down by the waist and he dont even get a free kick!

You're missing the point again. Most if not all here have zero, zilch, nada informed/constructive opinion. Its only opinion with zero, zilch, nada info, insight, knowledge, expertise, constructiveness, blah, blah, blah. Its one thing to be informed and a whole different thing to "feel" a certain way and act like you, me, or anyone else knows anything about football. In not understanding where I'm coming from Jim perhaps you too are "wrong".

Maybe i am wrong, i have no qualms in admitting it. But it seems like you've gone from talking about the zero informed members who cry "Sack Ancelotti" when something goes wrong, to talking about ALL members, to going back to the zero informed members again.

I think we've both been right and wrong in this debate, so i'd call it a score draw

wow... gone for a day & i return only to see alot of angry people... didn't read everythin'... just browsed through...

would like to reply to Kui... i am not one of the people here that wanted Gilardino in Milan... infact till now... i never wanted Inzaghi in Milan despite him playin' a major part in winnin' us our 6th CL trophy...

anyway... to clarify my point about Ancelotti's & big B's point of view about our performance not bein' disappointin'... to realize a mistake is about half way to a solution... but to keep insistin' that everythin' is perfect while it is obviously not is stupid at the very least... if there is somethin' wrong... it is not wrong to realize it... admit it & plan to work around the problem... but the constant denial only goes to show their lack of respect for us the fans... do they really think we are that naive?

there is a problem... it is clear as daylight... what i want to hear is plans to work out these issues we are facin'... rather than hearin' the same old story & excuses... we are unlucky... the most widely used excuse by losers... and enough of these lies... let's get down to the real issue of fixin' our current situation... we as the fans will only be more than happy to stand by our team & we can get pass this disaster together... only if first we (everyone... the fans & management... the lot) are honest to ourselves that there is a problem...

Warro Bantan will become famous soon enough
The bottom line for me, is that we had to lose sometime, and I much prefer a loss vs Palermo, to one vs Inter...so, thats my silver lining on the huge cloud right now.

As for Carlo...I was hasty in my previous post, but the minute a top class coach becomes available, and if our poor form continues, I think Berlu will act, and swiftly.

We are about to screw up our chances for the UCL next term..so we need to get back on track, and sooner rather than later.

With a match coming up on Wednesday..we dont have any time to recuperate..we just need to focus, and get the ball into the back of the net...when we do, it will be as if we never had this dry spell.

Milan need to buy players. I feel the morale of the team is at an all time low. The team is still trying to accept Sheva's departure. Oliviera has family problems and he isn't adapted himself well to the italian game. Milan need someone who dosen't share the same qualities as Inzaghi & Gila. Our defence is way too sloppy. Let's face it. Maldini, Costacurta & Cafu need to leave. Lugano / Barzagli and Oddo are the worthy replacements. We need another playmaker to support Kaka. Since Gila & Inzaghi can only play alone in attack. Berlusconi should wipe off his crazy idea of signing Ronaldinho and focus on the real problems

LOL! Yes Jim I'm all over the map on this one. Go figure huh? Yep we're both wrong and right in this debate. You're wrong, I'm right. LOL! If you rather have it the other way that's fine by me too.

Lippi eyes New Year return-- channel4--- maybe?

Marcello Lippi has insisted that he intends to return to football early next year, even if it’s not with a big club.

The former Italy Coach was linked with a move to Manchester United after he left the Azzurri bench, but decided to continue his vacation after the World Cup triumph.

“I have certainly not left football, my intention is to return when I am fully recharged,” said Lippi to RAI International.

“I've only taken a pause to reflect, just as I did when I left Juventus some years ago. I hope I will be contacted between February and March.

“I’m ready to discuss with any club that proposes me a serious plan for next season – I won’t necessarily end up training a big club.”

On Monday, the Coach also declared that he believes the Golden Ball title should be awarded to one of the seven Italian nominees.

The 50-man shortlist includes World Cup winners Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Gennaro Gattuso, Fabio Grosso, Andrea Pirlo, Luca Toni and Gianluca Zambrotta.

“The Golden Ball? I would definitely give it to one of the Italian players,” stated the former Juventus and Inter tactician.

We are just 2 days away from next game against Chievo so let's start thinking about that game , AC Milan players should forget about yesterdays loose and focus in next game and why not Come back from Verona with 3 points which would be very important before the derby against Inter .. btw someone open a theard for this game
