its not just you

thats why i said that maybe its better to buy a player like Anderson or Nani than Ronaldinho

Instead of spending say 70+ million on Ronaldinho, we can easily spend not more than 10m on Anderson of Porto. Has anyone seen him play? Wow, this kid is really something. We can use him as a second striker in our starting lineup and can be fielded along with Oliveira and Kaka in the future. With the rest of the money available we can buy defenders for next season such as Chivu,Alex,Barzagli or fullbacks like my personal favourites Alves & Marcelo (wouldnt mind Cicinho).

I wish our management can take a little bit more risks. I understand they've taken risks on Kaka and Gourcuff, but I'd like it if they took a bit more risks and buy more young talents and make them grow at Milan. Buying Anderson is no risk, but a guarantee. You guys should check him out, and dont only look at highlights cuz that says nothing. Try to watch a full game. There are rumours over the net that if Ronaldinho is sold to Milan Barca will buy Anderson to replace him.

You´re 100% right, hitmannq8!!!!
Ronaldinho is a amazing player, but we have Kaká for that position!!
BTW, as you said, Anderson can play as second striker, in kaka role, and also is showing a improvment playing in Sedoorf role.
W/ this 70+ million , I will give Milan:
Alex: 14mil
Alves::14mil
Barzagli: 10mil
Anderson: 15mill(Porto will ask for more).
Marcelo: 8mil right now. But, in December this kid will cost more.
Before someone jump at me w/ that "so much brazilians thing", in 2 or 3years the only brazilian in Milan will be Kaka.
...and as a Bonus:
Lucas(DM and CM of Gremio):watch out for this 19 kid. Got the first call for Brazil NT yersterday. A complete DM. Great power to defend, and talent to go foward!! I´m really impress w/ this kid!!

Youre Right my brazilian friend. Ronaldhino = too much cost for so little benefit. And Lucas and marcelo has sooooo much talent I cant explain it in words. But MIlan can only buy 1 of those 2 cause of regulations. Maybe Marcelo + Moutinho will do nicely. They HAVE to spend money on defense next year. Probs Barzagli and Chivu. Unfortunately I dont see them buying Alves at this time, they seem to be more intrested in Oddo or Cicinho. But lets see whats going to happen. Oh and Huntelaar for Borrielo.

Thanks, my friend I put the name of Lucas just to show one more great young player right now in Brazil, and that perhaps either hard to people in outside Brazil to see. But, IMO Alex, Daniel Alves(EU) and Marcelo could be priority for our team.

Lucas is a good player. He is Gremio's key man. I did see him in action and it was promising. There was even a profile on him on a TV program

Real Madrid's Emerson makes 'come and get me' plea to AC Milan

Real Madrid midfielder Emerson admits he'd like to end his career in Italy.

The Brazilian has endured a difficult start in Spain, despite Sunday's victory over Barcelona and made a 'come and get me' plea to AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.

(The funniest part)

Emerson is quoted saying in the Italian media: "If Berlusconi calls me, I'd finish my career in Italy.

"I would have stayed with Juventus in Serie B. I now miss the family there."

on calciomercato it says that Corriere dello sport says we will go for Iaquinta & Rinaudo in January and then Ronaldinho, Barzagli and Amelia in the summer.

It also mentions Nesta leaving us to go back to Lazio.

Has anyone heard this before or is this a first time rumor? Know of any truth to it? We're already hurting for good defenders, especially due to the age of our defense.

Why would he go back to Lazio? Is it near his hometown/house? He won't win anything there.

I'm going to bite my tongue on this one ...

tardissun, you surely know that Nesta was a Lazio idol and captain for many years, (1993 - 2002?) he was to Lazio what Totti is to Roma. This is why he's always been linked with a move back there at some point. I can't be sure of this, but i'm sure he's probably made an off the cuff remark at some stage saying he'd like his last season or two to be at Lazio.

In regards this current story, i think it's just the fact that his contract has run down to only 2 years left, which i suppose isn't much to worry about, but you'd think his contract would have been sorted out like Pirlo's, Gattuso's and Kaka's were a few months ago.

The point is, he's 30 now i think and i don't see him being with us after the next 3 maybe 4 seasons.
