Coppa Italia: Milan vs. Brescia 1st Leg

So I just found out that we have our first Coppa Italia match on Wednesday vs. Brescia in the round of 16. Don't really know what to say, but we might as well go for it this year, seeing as how the Scudetto seems farther and farther away.

Forza Milan no matter what, this might be our only chance at silverware this season (TIM Cup does not count)

Starting line-up for Milan: Kalac; Cafu, Bonera, Costacurta, Favalli; Lunati, Brocchi, Gourcuff; Seedorf; Ricardo Oliveira, Borriello.

yea i think milan should always go for this trophy though ...

This and either a scudetto or champo league winning this trophy isnt easy of course but its a morale booster ..

I think this year it would be best if we just scrap the Coppa Italia as now more than ever before we need to fully focus on CL and getting as far as possible in Serie A.
And given that many of our players are injured or just returning from injury, I don't think it would a good idea to commit our energy and risk further injuries in a tournament that can take us only as far as UEFA Cup.

I would just play the Primavera team and maybe a few players like Costacurta, Fiori, Bonera, Gourcuff, Boriello.

i would let some of the youngsters have a go, would be good for them, Guerci, Gennaro, and Aubameyang are ones to watch... Lunati is supposed to start..Antonelli the defender is also in the squad, ive heard his name before...

One good thing is that it looks like Carlo will play Bonera at CB, which is his best position!

Give the kids a game, why exhaust an already stretched squad for a tournament they are not motivated to win.

Bonera, had huge potential and just stopped improving. He had major issues with getting cards and didnt at all deserve to be picked up by a club like Milan. He has done nothing in his brief time here and a solid performance where he actually takes the balls and not the players legs will be a good start.

I more excited about watching this game than the Roma one because we might get to see some of our reserves. I would especially like to see Aubameyang who is doing great with the primavera team. There are 5 players from the youth academy in the squad so I guess we might be able to see at least 1 of them. Also Kalac will start the game... it will help him by keeping him in check.

Will this be our only legitimate chance at some hardware this season? One thing we DON'T want is an Inter three-peat.

If that was the case, we probably would've wiped the floor with Palermo last season instead of the other way around.

Are you ever going to stop posting the same thing over and over and over again. You proved your point. You think Dida is a bad player and what not you even think about him. Just drop it and stop acting like a little child. Everyone has read your oppinion about Dida so you can stop making your claim now and posting it in every single thread.
