nefremo SkyEdge.......who said that Gila said anything like that? Egoistika's husband's grandfather? - Come ooonn!!! I have nothing against him, or her husband, or Egoistika....but she is definatly, like Jeff said, is turning and twisting words just to make them fit her claim. It is so childish!

Let's be honest......if Gila said something like that it would have ben all over the web and the papers, and not only in Egoistika's claims. I really feel that this is a little suspicious as only "she" heard it from "someone else".

I'll give Egoistika credit for saying that those might not be the exact same words, but that is the whole point. Because one mistaken word or phrase can change the whole meaning of that.

Are you accusing me in lieing? Do you have any prove that it did not happen? My husbend's grandfather would never say smth that didnt happen, so I m pretty sure that if he says that Gila said so, Gila 99,99% said so.

Well, why hasn't ANYONE else heard it! Your the ONLY one that claims this, and just so it happens that you hate Gilardino. People here clearly specify what they've heard and it is something in the lines that you posted, but with a very very different meaning of what you put. I really have a hard time biting into what you said, because as I mentioned....knowing the press, If Gila said something like this it would have been ALL OVER the web.

The point being it would have been aired on Sky first and then reported by Channel 4. I would take their version of the translation over yours any day.

If Gilardino had been as arrogant as you say, more people would have made something of it, it would have made more headlines. But it hasn't. You admitted yourself that you weren't sure of the exact translation. We're talking about the same thing but i think you got it wrong this time.

I asked grandfather to repeat it several times and I asked him if he was sure about that...he said yes. And he said that the phrase: "Nobody ll cry for Sheva" is exactly what Gila said. Why would he lie? I hate Gila, but I d never make up smth, I d never lie. Do you have Italian SKY?

Well, not true that whatever is shown on SKY is shown on Channel 4 after. For SKY we pay a lot of money and Channel 4 we have for free. And yes I did say that it is not the exact translation, but the sense is that. I cannot say for sure what he said after, maybe he did not precisly said that he was in such a good shape, but "Nobody ll cry for Sheva today" was there, according to grandpa.

Sheva decided to leave us for something he "thought" was better, so goodbye to him. There is nothing wrong in saying, "nobody will cry for sheva". As a matter of fact, it is a good thing to say because it reasures the fans that we can do without Sheva as well.

Well, first of all the granddaddy does not have anything against Gila, and he could not care less, because he supports Lazio. And this attitude is very very bad...how come you say that a 70-year old man cannot be trusted. Do you know him at all?

I think all these attacks on Ego just becaus eof her preference are unwarranted. Many here have insulted me also for my views on their posterboy Gilardino.
Can we not have a differing opinion and voice such without having to endure ridicule for such???

I think it's absolutely hillarious that no one here has as yet commented on the fact that Gila, as the 1st choice striker for Italy, notched the same no. goals as did Inzaghi who came in as a sub for a couple of minutes. Even worse, they proceed to criticise Luca Toni...perhaps in the hope that by making Toni look bad Gila may look better??

That is very well said. Many people here do strange comparisons, but whatever we say is considered stupid or unjustified.
