btw, i remember reading an article about Anderson (from Porto, the player that is said to be half Rivaldo half Ronaldinho), he said his dream was to play for Milan. ATM Barca are hot on his heels and want to sign him asap. He is having a GREAT season this yr with Porto and if you really want to see him just look at any porto game. He starts every game and is always their best player. Check him out guys, we dont need to sign Ronaldinho for 80m when there are players almost just as good for around 10m!

That rumour was around last week that Sevilla wanted Marcelo. They see him as a left-sided Alves.

English reports say Chelsea and Man Utd want Higuain. Calciomercato say Real Madrid want him too.

There are just too many. Marcelo, Gago, Lucas, Diego, Anderson, Carlos Alberto, Higuain, Kerlon ... we can't buy them all.

The Latin America Diary

Quote:

This is pretty reliable source for Madrid related stuff! However i had read earlier that Macri is good friends with Laporta, may be that is why Macri is denying Madrid the chance of signing Higuain and instead he may go to Barca.

We can probably forget about Higuain, which is a shame. I stated earlier that he was looking for a move to France, which turns out to be what his father wants him to do because of his French origins.

However, Higuain's agent is that b*stard Pini Zhavi, or whatever his name is, the leech of football, the biggest super agent in the world. He was the one who helped take Tevez & Mascherano to West Ham in that mysterious transfer and he also has (i think) half the rights to Higuain. This is why Zhavi is trying to get Higuain to go to the Premiership and Chelsea in particular because of his relations with Abramovich. Man Utd are a distant second.

I'd be surprised if Higuain went anywhere else other than England because of that t*sser Zhavi. Even if he did come here, Higuain would constantly be linked with Chelsea because of Zhavi's ties to Abramovich. Just like we are always linked to Ronaldinho because of Oliveira's agent.

I'd like to see him here, but i can't see it happening.

So are we joumasepoes. Kerlon is no doubt on Braida's watch list.

Another name has cropped up, Joao Leonardo de Paula Reginato of Athletico Paranaense. What can you tell us about him Brasiliero?

Bad news about Marcelo!!!

From:http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=17631

Real Madrid clinch £4M deal for Fluminense starlet Marcelo
tribalfooball.com - November 09, 2006

Real Madrid are confident they have a deal for Fluminense wing-back Marcelo.

Despite a rival offer from Sevilla of £4 million upfront and interest from Inter and AC Milan, Fluminense have accepted Real's staggered bid of £2 million immediately and another £2 million at a later date.

A Real source told AS: "The key is the boy wants to come to Madrid. Nobody can break his will. There are better offers , but the boy has his heart set on Madrid."

The deal was struck between Real and Flu yesterday after 72 hours of intense negotiations.

It's expected that Real will soon announce Marcelo's signing and then seek to loan him to another European club for the second-half of the season as the teenager does not carry a European passport.

They said this a couple of weeks ago aswell. Maybe this time they have it right. For some reason the boy is deluded and thinks Madrid is a good move, the poor kid!

There's also reports we could lose out to them for Higuain. For once i just wish we'd get 3 or 4 of these 'talents' ahead of all the other teams.

yeah, even Inter beat us this summer when we tried to sign Ibra or Crespo. Same with Sobis who preferred Betis. Same with Ronaldo who preferred Inter. We need to start attracting players with good financial offers. It will be something really sad if we lose out on Marcelo, afterall Cicinho was all set for Milan but then a day later he signed for Real right from under our noses.

I think you're wrong about Sobis hitman. We had him in the bag, he wanted to join us more than anyone else, he'd spents ages on the internet looking up facts about Milan. However, we decided not to finalise the deal for some reason and Betis came in and now he's in Spain.

Maybe there was an agreement that we'd let them have Sobis in turn for getting Oliveira? For whatever reason he was ours and then we let him go, more than likely because of Oliveira's agent. That seems to be one of the main reasons we got the striker from Betis.

Yeah, i think that is the main reason we got Oliveira, cuz frankly speaking, I dont think he is a striker that Milan would have signed for 10m. According to Galliani, he now has started to lose faith in even getting Ronaldinho. If this is just some mind games he's playin with the Barca management, i applaud him, but if they really end up failing that means alot. It means we we were willing to sacrifice a whole season with Oliveira and pay 10m+ vogel to get him, just to have a stronger chance of getting Ronaldinho.

the more you look at it, the more ridiculous it seems. 17 million euros plus Vogel for a player who missed 8 months of football with a serious knee injury? Betis must have been shaking their heads in disbelief. He's not worth that much that is for sure, which begs the question why we went through with it. There must have been other strikers of similar quality available for that price.

One thing is clear, Milan is high rated by brazilians players. Every player talk abou the respect that the club give to brazilians...
The problem(IMO) is that Milan office is just asking for players but without do real BIDS...
Right now Real Madrid is purchasing Marcelo for just 4 or 5 millions Unbelievble...and we do nothing
BTW, just take a look at the player thatwe are losing(Marcelo): Scroll down...

I'll look forward to reading it tomorrow morning Brasiliero

Higuain has been called up by Domenech for France's friendly against Greece next Wednesday. It will be interesting to see if he plays. Off topic, Karim Benzema has also been called up. I think this kid could be a great striker, he shows alot of potential right now.

Gago seems to have followed Marcelo's suit and said that he'd like to play for Madrid. At this point they could quite easily end up with Marcelo, Gago & Higuain. That would make me so mad, i can't begin to describe it

I also found this on sky sports about Flamengo speaking about Ronaldo going to their club.

"Ronaldo has never made any secret of his desire to return to his homeland - and Flamengo in particular - to finish his career, and the Brazilian outfit are hoping to take advantage of his current malaise to try and broker a deal.

"It's nothing new to say that Ronaldo wants to end his career at Flamengo, but I can't say that he is going to be here for the 2007 Copa Libertadores," stated Flamengo supremo Marcio Braga.

"What I can say is that we will try to bring him to our team."

Flamengo will use their close relationship with sports investment company MSI to try and finance any deal, admitting the club alone do not have the resources to pull off such a coup.

"We don't even have $100,000 in the club accounts," Braga continued.

"I don't know if MSI are going to be our financial partners in the negotiations, but I expect to have a meeting with their officials in order that we might have Ronaldo in our team at some time."

----------------------

If this is true then why have ideas above your station? Why risk putting your club into more debt by striking up some deal with the loan sharks of football MSI? No wonder football is in such a financial crisis. These clubs have hardly any money but are prepared to sell themselves to the devil (msi) and be in potential debt for goodness knows how many years. MSI are the embodiment of everything wrong with football these days. They make me sick.

---------------------

i've read in a few places that Marcelo's move to Real is now official. Apparently they paid 7 million euros and got him on a 5 year deal. If that is confirmed i will be mad, angry and disapointed all at the same time
