In England they do instead have the problem with work permit, basically any non-eu they bring will have to play in the national team (including u-21).

Il giocatore č sotto contratto fino al 2009 con una clausola di rescissione da 16 milioni di euro. (Gazzetta dello Sport) It says: "Ilsinho to Milan; Italian passport is coming". i just saw the stats of Ilsinho at football manager 2007.
He is very good, very fast,he is very good at technical, attacking, dribbling, crossin, and at defence he isnt the best but he had good stats. But because he is young and he can develop be better .Thats his advantage! ----------------------------------------------------------- For his age he is very good!!! ------------------------------------------------------- If you look marcelo's stats he is great at technical,dribling,crossin.......but at defence he is a joke!!! He cant make defence, and thats a big problem for him! With that stats he can play better as ML or as AML.For the role of DL i dont trust him!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ Ilsinho can be better of Marcelo! ------------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by rosoneri_11; 15-11-2006 at 06:16. |

Trust me, Ilsinho is worst than Marcelo in defence. But yes, he can develope in this area...and his coach(I saw on TV) is demanding a better attitude on defence. Murici is a hard nose coach, and is working w/ Ilsinho. I saw Marcelo as a young Daniel Alves. Even the little nasty style. Marcelo in Brazil youths, received several cards(yellow and reds) because the kid was always giving hard tackles, and some times losing "the point" ...but the good news(for brazilians) is that the kid found a balance.I saw Branco, Leonardo, R. Carlos, Serginho, Junior, Adriano, Maxwel and playing, but in terms of talent, and never saw a LB as Marcelo. [/b] For sure, a injure, or some wrong choices can ruin its career. But every one in Fluminense praise the kid for to be humble and professional...and his teammates loves the kid. Even Dunga, that is hard to praise players(individually), said wonderfull things about Marcelo attitude, and for being such a great kid. I really hope that if Milan will go to make purchases in Brazil(right now), the choice isnīt Ilsinho. The guy has talent, but is more a project than guys like Lucas, Arouca or Nilmar. Lucas and Arouca would give more talent, power and pace for our midfield. Our mid is always outplayed by others. The only form that we arenīt out played is w/ Gattuso and Brochi/ Ambrosine pair. But with both, we lost so much quality. Lucas or Arouca wuld give us more power, pace, quikness and quality...but maybe Iīm wrong, and Ilsinho isnīt a project as I think...whop knows?? |

Brasileiro, you might be right that all those players are more established then this guy Ilsinho, but we badly need a RB more then anything else. That right side is too dull and there is nothing there. Whenever Cafu is in there (and it doesn't happen that oftern anymore) we do have some crosses available, but Cafu can't beat players anymore because his speed isn't there.
It would be perfect for us to get Gago(even thought it seems impossible) and in that way we can play him in Pirlo's role and push Pirlo i Seedorf's spot. That will push up Pirlo further up the field (ex:just like he did in Italy) and we will have a good DM who can pass great and take care of the ball, Gago. Adding a RB to this (Ilsinho, even though I know nothing about him but this is where desperation hits I guess), would mean great additions in January. Again however, we are left dissapointed after all the hype and promisses.

Thank you Brasileiro, you give us much good information. All I can do when Milan linked with a player is searching in Internet or FM Data
.Ilsinho, Lucas, Arouca and Nilmar, we can only have one from them. I like Arouca the best, he developed more than other and have professional character, but I think we need an attacking RB badly, too, like Nefremo. |

wohoho! nice move...aldough it doesnt mean anything....
Still, there is one doubt of Braida's trip to South America. If he went there to try to sign Gago, Higuain or even Marcelo....whos positions are: DM, AMF, LB, why did we "end up"( still not finished) with a right back...?? I mean, Braida had a certain task in there, certain tactical or positional preferences that Milan needs. He didnt just went there to buy 2 or 3 players, but to buy the players he is aming too. If he was aming to buy Gago or Marcelo, it cant be possible that he instead of a DM decided to buy RB. That would be to unprofessional from Milan. So, maybe, we had an eye on this man (who might turn out to be good), made him an italian passport and signed him just as we wanted to. Yes,we do have another problems, not just RB spot, but RWB is also badly needed by Milan. If we went there with idea to sign new midfielder, we wouldnt buy a defender. Let those three end up in Madrid. We only need to buy smart, and we will be ok. But we do need to BUY. ( means- spend some money )

Calderon reveals Ģ600M Real Madrid TV deal
tribalfooball.com - November 15, 2006 Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has revealed the club has sold it's television rights for a massive Ģ600 million. Without naming the company involved, Calderon declared: "It's the most important contract in the history of world-wide sport." The mega deal will run over six years and the Real supremo assured more details will be made public in the coming days. First they sign all the players, then they sign a 600m TV deal. Is it possible that this number is right??? If it is, I think that Real is really going to become a force again. By the way, does anyone know what our numbers are with the sponsors and the TV deals, and if yes, can you please compare them to other leading teams. It would be interesting to see how we compare on the market with other teams.

I think Juve, just before they got relegated, struck a deal with Mediaset, or was it sky, for around 80 mil euros/year. Milan got a similar amount too, if I remember correctly.
This Real M deal is indeed massive - that's about 150 mil euros/year for the next 6 years - but I doubt this would make them a better team, would mostly increase their popularity and status of a travelling circus, IMO. The reason I say this is that they have been having A LOT of money at their disposal for quite some time now and money has never been an issue for Real at all. The problem is that they didn't know how to use/spend that money properly and that's something that can't be fixed with big TV deals. All in all, a contract like this would ensure the financially secure future of Real M and will make sure that they stay one of the big players on the transfer market. Whether they will become a better team, however, depends on how they spend that money and not on the amount of cash they have.
