Milan Youth Players

After seeing mrki's thread.. I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to talk solely about which players are the most promising out of our youth team. Of course.. there'll only be a select few who can actually comment on the players seeing as their matches are not aired live. But any opinions on the players are welcome Maybe we don't have to look too far for our team's needed rejuvenation.

I seriously think that we are doing a poor job with the youth team since I havent seen a decent player coming out our youth team. As far as I have seen till now I think next three or four year the same will happen, cuz the guys that are curently playing for Primavera Squad are not good enough, and I am not talking about their abilities,I`m talking about their physical shape, non of them is built enought to play Serie A football.
The last one that came out of our squad was Donadel who played some decent football for Parma and Fiorentina but even his not good enough for milan.

The problem with young players and big teams is that the big teams have no time to wait! It is as simple as that. The best young players come frome lower clubs because these smaller clubs can afford to take the gamble to let a young player on the field and allow him to develop.
Milan on the other hand is forced to win every game and win every possible trophy out there. So unless the young player is a prodigy or something then his chance of featuring for Milan is very slim. What usually happens is that we loan these players out or after a while when they turn 18-19 leave the club to play regularly for lower clubs. So then it turns out that they were good after all, however every player needs time on the field to become experienced and gain confidence in his abilities. Untill these players are given that, we won't trully see their potential.

He now plays for the PrimaVera squad. He is from Soresina, is 17yrs old (born 31 July 1989) and plays midfield. I want you all to remember his name as I beleive he will have a promising football career. ALEX GUERCI. So dont forget who told you all who he was.

Well if youre talking about promising players then Id mention most people in the academy. Do you mean youth players that stand out? For me Sandro Bloudek, Marzoratti and Digao stand out. Do they have a future in the Milan team? I doubt it. Almost all the first team are purchased and i dont see this trend changing

I feel milan should have a sattelite club in seri B (juventus? ) or something like that in spain for instance where the b-team actually plays as real madrid b and barcelona b at least one division lower

If anybody cares.. Di Gennaro scored a brace for our Primavera team last weekend.. and Guerci is currently in our squad for Chievo.

That is a good idea. Serie B will make them more tough and the number of matches played will also make them used to the pressure of playing in serie a, ucl, coppa, etc..

Where is George Weah's son? Or is he alot younger?

as the photo was loading the 2nd line, i thought Candi, Paixao, Gritti & Bottini were Oliveira, Desailly, Kaka & Stam respectively

We ought to just take a gamble sometimes---particularly in Coppa Italia games. Just slot in one of the youth players at left back or something and see how he goes. After all, it's not only about talent, it's also about attributes that "fit" our team. There is no way to know unless we just try it out.
