depends on how much goal and drive there is, and what transfers we sign in the winter window.. If there is signs that the management want to build a competitive team then hel stay, if not he will go..

is a RUMOR that makes sense so it sells, so is probably nothing...but IF kaka decides to leave(thats the only way he'll go, don't think Milan will "let" him go just for money) real has a bunch of quality young players to exchange + lots of money...life goes on, a single player does not define a club, juve remained juve after zizou, baggio, barca remained barca after rivaldo, ronaldo, figo...etc, etc...Boca Juniors refused to sell gago to real just for pride (the money was there), I don't see how Milan will sell kaka at his prime

Lippi, Maldini headline AC Milan overhaul
tribalfooball.com - December 12, 2006

Marcello Lippi is on the verge of an agreement at AC Milan.
The Italian World Cup winner is set to replace Carlo Ancelotti, who is being lined up by Valencia, says La Repubblica.

Lippi has already submitted his shopping list to Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, which will include Marco Amelia (Livorno), Massimo Oddo (Lazio),Gianluca Zambrotta, Andres Iniesta or Xavi (all Barcelona) and one between David Trezeguet (Juventus) and Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid).

Also under consideration is a high-powered off-field role for club captain Paolo Maldini. The veteran defender is set to be offered the club's vice-presidency at the end of the season.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
My god these are the best news that i had ever read!I hope they come true!
if this rumour bears any truth... i will welcome Lippi... in his list are some players i wanted at Milan... and i can't be happier if they finally do make their way over along with a coach that regards them highly... in the list maybe only Xavi & Torres isn't my top choices... but still are reinforcements i wouldn't exactly disagree with...

i'm a big fan of Iniesta & Zambrotta... two jewels i would prefer from Barca than Ronaldinho... likewise... Amelia & Oddo are two Italians that are both practical & of quality...

if Oddo doesn't come in Jan... it would be pointless.. his value comes from the fact he can play in the CL... and is close to the end of his current contract...

if we are forced to get a RB only in the summer... Oddo will drop down the list with Miguel & Alves obvious better choices in terms of age & overall quality...

Cellino blocca Suazo 'Milan o Inter?

Translation :
Cellino blocks Suazo transfer. Milan or Inter ? He's not for sale
For Cagliari's president Massimo Cellino, Suazo is not for sale.
"I didn't sell him to Sevilla for 15 Million, why should i sell him to Milan or Inter for 10 Million ?

Source Gazzetta football italia

Lazio President Claudio Lotito has denied he is in crisis talks with captain Massimo Oddo.

The Italy international has been repeatedly linked with a January transfer to Milan, with rumours surfacing that Oddo has met with club officials to discuss his future. "There has been no meeting with Oddo, who will remain a Lazio player until 2008," said Lotito, who recently had his Calciopoli ban wiped out on appeal. "I must repeat that there has never been any 'for sale' sign around his neck, this story has been blown out of proportion by the media. The club will do all it can to keep Oddo here and for the time being there have been no offers." The reported discussions between the player and the club were claimed to focus on the fact that Oddo currently earns significantly more than the new Ģ357,000 wage cap introduced by Lotito, a major sticking point consider the defender has just one more year remaining on his current contract.

Oddo himself has also spoken out over the issue, claiming that the club seem reluctant to agree over his future. "I would like to stay, but I am 30 and the next one will probably be my last contract, an important one," he explained. "I am willing to discuss things with the club, but they must also take a step towards me. If it only depended on me, I would remain with Lazio, 100 per cent." The situation seems worryingly similar to last season, when fans' favourite Paolo Di Canio claimed he was forced out of the club by President Lotito after not being offered a new deal.
is this the time to try and get him while there stalling over the contract. also its nothing to do with this but with Henry refusing to play and a so called argument about him playing at the training ground should Milan try to look to sign him with him been unsettled and all imo Henry is what Milan need hes quick strong very talented and has a great goal scoring record he could be our replacement for sheva.

well maybe Milan need to a bit more aggressive and try to 'ruffel some feathers' to try and get somebody.

Warro Bantan will become famous soon enough
Posted this in the Kaka to Real thread, thought it was better placed here: (with a few ammendments)

This is my take on all speculation, and actual transfers, from here on out, especially when I look at how things have gone in the distant, and importantly, recent past:

I dont care what players are at Milan anymore. Big and Serious. It doesnt matter really...I know who I would prefer, I know who I would love to play for us, I know who I dont want, but ultimately, I have no control over these aquisitions and sales.

I cant continue to raise my blood pressure over issues that I have no control over...Kaka leaving, or staying..Ronaldinho, coming or not...defense being "refurbished" or not...Calro being sacked or not...

Folks, I made a decision, not taken lightly, to support the institution that is AC Milan, not Weah, not Boban, not Van Basten, Rijkaard or Gullit, not $heva, not Gattuso, not Rui Costa...the club. The crest. The Red and Black candy stripe.

Lippi? Ancelotti? Maldini? Yogi the Bear? Doesnt matter...someone will coach, I have seen good, bad, and downright ugly, but it never altered my allegiance to Milan, nor will it even if they rehire Zaccerphony (how Calro could allow that clown to take points from the San Siro is beyond me).

If Berlu sells the club to Idi Amin...it wouldnt matter. I am not changing allegiance...if we get relegated this season, so be it..I will still wear my Milan shirt when searching for streams for Serie B matches.

I wont get caught up in any senseless, mind numbing, fear inducing rumors, that may, or importantly, may not come to fruition.

If Kaka stays, fine, if he leaves, fine..Milan wont cease to exist. Footballers have to look for what they consider to be their best interests...if it means leaving one club for another...its just the same for any person leaving one job for the next...its a job after all...and people change employers all the time.

I did not post the above for any veiled criticisim of other posters here, I am simply stating my recently adopted viewpoint on transfer speculation.

I cannot protest in front of Berluīs offices for a better transfer policy...I cannot change anything about Milan, except whether or not I chose to support the club.

I chose to support AC Milan, regardless.

Yes right! If we goes then good luck to him!
We can buy another great player as MC, and change our tactic to 4-4-2 wich is beter than 4-3-1-2 and more usefull
and play like this.........

--------------------------Gk--------------------------
--RB--------------DC------------DC------------LB---

--MR-------------Pirlo-------Gattuso-----------ML--

---------------------ST-------ST---------------------

Gattuso will now play at his natural position which is DMC and MC and not as a RM wich is not!And also he will help very much pirlo and give him more freedom, and gattuso's football playing will be better! And also we finaly will have wingers, ML an MR and we gonna play better football and for sure with 2 great wingers like Ribery/Keita at MR and one of Robben/Joe Cole/Gourcouff at ML we gonna be a great club again!

Yeah I can't understand some people here at MM, they say:"If this player leaves I'm not supporting Milan anymore". How can you support a club just because of one or more players? Unbelivable.

This is not a rumor but a question. Does anyone follow the Brazilian league closly to see this kid play, I saw him yesterday at the Club World Cup and he looked very good.
