I don't agree... Akinfeev is one of the most talented young goalkeepers in the world.... If any team gets him, European team, he will become the best goalkeeper in the world...

a timid question, maybe... but... Stefano Fiore needs to get out of Torino, he has problem with Zaccheroni... we need midfielders... there are talks about Cassano for the attack and we got Grimi for defense... what about getting Fiore for our midfield?

I think it would be a great short-term solution since there are hardly any better options out there available in the middle of the season.
He could play both in Pirlo's role and as a reliever for Kaka too ... and, while he may not be a sping chicken, the guy is quality.

Kerzhakov was bought buy Sevilla for 15 million euros! Wow! I did not expect that his price can be that high. People say that it was the most expensive transfer from Russia. Still its a pity that Milan was not interested in him...he is good.

Why not expect his prise to be that high?? Have you seen him playing?? He is damn good player, Russia NT is great... Especially their attact, Kerzhakov, Sychev, Arshavin.... All class players!

I think this 15 mil would be the result of a long term deal between the two clubs that doesn't inlvolve Kerzhakov's transfer only. The transfer fee for the player alone, which Sevilla would pay now seems to be around 5 mil euros or so and will go up depending on how he performs for his new team in the long run.
That's more of a realistic price, I think, as Kerzakhov, while a promising talent, is far from a proven and estrablished player ... and if he fails to live up to the expectations, he will be just one of many examples when changing countries/cultures didn't do a player much good.

The deal is the following (according to the official website and many other russian webs): 15 million for Kerzhakov and 3 frendlies between Zenit and Sevilla. Also in this price there is a cast of the rights for the broadcasting of those 3 friendlies in Russia and Spain. They say this deal became the biggest (among those involving Russian players). Alexandr ll sign a contract for 5 years.

Of course I have seen him play..he played for Zenit Saint-Petersburg, and I m originally from St-Petersburg. I did not expect such price because from the start Sevilla suggested something like 3 million for him.

OK, maybe that is too high prise for him, but 3 million would be way to little for him... However, what is done is done, we'll see how he develops from now on...

Yeah, I agree, 3 million would be a horrible price for such player as Kerzhakov. I wish him all the best and loads of goals for a new team (hopefully not to Zenit's or Milan's goal, though).

I haven't seen him play but have read very good things about this player. Still, I think Sevilla are taking a big risk by going for him and at such a hefty price for more or less an unproven player.
What I think the biggest problem for Kerzhakov will be, is not that he doesn't have skills and talent but that he would face a big culture shock and this may very well hamper him from showing what he's capable of.
