These 8 youngsters Milan and Inter bought from eachother for total of 25 M Euro seem to be the biggest problem.

It's money laundering, no doubt about that, but Galliani does have a point when he says "Io credo che le societa' siano libere di acquisire, di vendere giocatori e libere nelle valutazioni" ( i believe the clubs are free to buy and sell players, and are free to put any price tag on them)
So, there's no doubt those anonimous youngsters were overvalued, but is it really a crime, according the law ?

In Inter's case there are number of "ipervalutati" players according to Borrelli ( dunno why is he saying all these things if he really is on Moratti's pay list).

All these things seems to be connected with "forging the bilanci", and it looks like it wasn't happening only in Inter, but in Milan also.

41 players Moggi bought/sold are also investigated and i won't be suprised at all if we find more irregularities.

It can't get any worse for Italian football, no ?

P.S : Some law 231 seems to be broken, but i have no idea what is it about

Looks like it is the turn of Robespierre(INTER) to get the guillotine no?
Again this is a worry for me for we are in the spotlight second time around. Amazing... simply amazing. I am however, also a bit consoled that the number of folks seeking blood here has gone down significantly. Hopefully the hard lesson is still fresh in the minds of Rossoneri.

Noone's interested in this "scandal"

Ok, i'll update for you guys ( if you mind me writing about this new scandal, then just tell me not to do so )

Today and yesterday there has been a drastic change in Morratti's and Galliani's behaviour, when this scandal is concerned. From denying everything, Morratti ( after the 30 pages of accusations have been finished) has now changed the "We're clear and nothing happened" part to : "Rinaldo Ghelfi, our ex sport director was responsibile for these transfers, but he's not an Inter employee anymore".

Galliani from denying everything now says " I sign a bag of papers and I cannot remembered all of it" !

This new "Young players exchange" scandal seems to be much more serious than everyone tought at the beggining. There was Hypervaluating of some 16-17 years old anonimous players and it seems Inter was doing it constantly every transfer window.

Inter has much bigger problems than Milan because they are risking demotion if proven guilty (Milan can't be demoted even if proven guilty)

What's disgusting in this case is THE MEDIA.
Do you guys read anything about this scandal ? Did you see anything on TV or in Gazzetta ?
Nope, you didn't !
Now compare this with Moggipoli and the MEDIA attention it was getting.
Luckily , Roman, Turin and other Italian media and papers aren't closing their eyes in front of this scandal, so we could know what's going on.

There are many articles in Italian, but i can't translate everything, so if someone is interested, and he knows Italian, just say it and i'll give you the articles.

I'm getting all these news from an Italian girl on Juventus forums ( she's the 'Zlatanov" of our forum. Always reliable and few steps in front of us
Anyway, i found some articles by myself. But you have to register to the newspapers to read the articles ( i can't give you the link because it won't work if you're not registered), so i'll just put some of them here :

contiene circostanze molto dettagliate.

E’ uscito a tarda sera dal*l’ufficio, pronunciando poche parole: « Stiamo lavorando, so*no questioni delicate » .
This next article is actually an interview with young Brunelli, the guy Inter sold to Vise Pesaro for 3 M Euro. He's the reason for opening this case at first place, and investigating his case led to suspicion about Inter doing some shady bussiness with their financial records.

MILANO.

In*fine, nell’estate 2003, mi sono ri*trovato all’Inter».

E qui cominciano i guai.

Lei nel giugno 2003 è passa*to dal Milan all’Inter.

Invece è finito all’Inter.
Il giorno do*po ho preso i giornali e ho visto che ero passato all’Inter.

Cosa c’era scritto in quel contratto?

Poi l’infortunio ha cambia*to tutto.

«No, mai».

So solo che in questi anni me ne hanno combinate troppe.

Perché ha fatto quell’espo*sto all’ufficio indagini?

«Perché l’Inter è venuta meno verso i suoi obblighi contrat*tuali.

Adesso come intende agire?
There is more, but it will take many posts and lot of space here. So i can send you a PM with some other articles.

It's understandble that la gazetta dello sport and la corriere dello sport don't report about this new scandal. They are 'Milan's and Inter's' newspapers. Two parties involved in this scandal. Maybe you could expect la gazetta dello sport to report about it because Milan isn't in so much danger, but because of the calciopoli troubles they will prefer to not have anything to do with it, because Milan can't take no more negative publicity.
Off course Tuttosport is frequently reporting about it. It's 'Juventus'' newspaper, so they act in order to get revenge. They want Inter to get demoted, because they got demoted. So it could also be that they exaggerate.
TV is mostly under control of Berlusconi, so here you can tell the same story as with the gazetta dello sport.

from channel 4:

Milan and Inter indicted!

Milan and Inter have been indicted by Federal Prosecutor Stefano Palazzi as part of his latest investigation.

Both clubs have been accused of false accounting in order for them to register for the 2004-05 season and Palazzi decided to hand the case to the disciplinary commission after completing his enquiry.

The investigation was launched after goalkeeper Simone Brunelli reported that his signature had been counterfeited in 2003 when he was sold from Milan to Inter.

The unknown 23-year-old player, who is still owned by Inter but has been out of action since 2004 because of an injury, was sold to the Via Durini outfit during the summer of 2003.

However, he only learned about his transfer from the newspapers and received a signed contract at his home only after insisting the club send it to him.

He then discovered that the signature on the agreement was not his and that he was valued at £2m, despite his monthly wage only being £1,700.

Brunelli’s case, as well as a civil enquiry, caused the new Federal investigation to be launched. Milan and Inter will now be judged by the disciplinary commission for objective responsibility in the case.

Nerazzurri official Gabriele Oriali and the goalkeeper himself, who moved to Vis Pesaro on a loan deal in 2005, will also go in front of the commission.

Palazzi also transmitted the file to Federal Commissioner Luca Pancalli, who will be called to assess the situation and decide if the clubs will be handed any punishment.

Milan and Inter have both maintained their innocence. If found of wrongdoing they could be fined or docked points, even if the latter is unlikely according to reports in Italy.

I am not quite sure but I think the articles appeared in Italian media only and thus they are only in Italian ... at least that seems to be the only version Tony has found so far.

I think the most likely outcome is both clubs to be fined ... although if you ask me, the worst has already happened - Milan's name appears in yet another under-the-table scheme

And i hope you'll agree that if Milan and especially Inter ( i say especially them because they were given an "ethic scudetto) are found guilty, then they both deserve a much bigger punishment.

But Italy doesn't need any more demotions and docking points, so both teams will save themselves this time.
Although i doubt Milan would have passed so easily if they were the only ones involved in this scandal, or if the other team involved wasn't Inter !
So, say THANK YOU to Mr. Moratti !
