Or lets be always serious as every day someone gets killed in middle east, and I dont see why one cop is more important than any other human life, if you really want to write long posts with "serious" contetn, think abnout this. We all feel disgusted but I will not apologise to you as you are the only one that didnt understand the humor factor. No more discussio from me about this issue. Rest in peace for killed guy, and if they want they can stop the league. But stopping the league untill when?? Untill politics get out of football? Untill south Italy gets some money and industry so people dont get frustrated and angry? Untill year 2100.?? You are not the judge on Milanmania and I see your behaviour as unexceptable.

Banning teams would be a punishment and not a cure. The clubs should want to change to stop all this madness and they should be forced to change for the future of Italian football.

I don't think they (mrki, Warp05, Milan_2007) deserve your harsh words. If they were indeed out of line, I am sure that mods would have contacted (or warned) them. You have been policing around and imposing your standard of value on others. This is a public forum that encourages freedom of speech, so you are entitled to that right, but I don't think that you should expect everyone to readily and happily agree with you.

I think humour is a good way to deal with things, but there is a time and a place for it and right now it's not really appropriate.

Imagine the uproar if people had been cracking jokes in their replies when they posted about something like the tsunami 2 years ago, it's not the type of response you want to read when something serious is happening. I just think a bit more sensitivity and common sense is in order in these situations.

It also may seem that this has more emphasis than alot of other tragedies that happen on a day to day basis, but this is only because it affects the circle of interest that brings us here in the first place which is football. It doesn't mean people don't care about other things happening around the world or that this bears more importance than them.

Kui im back to say this. Im here for a long time now, and everyone knows me a bit. My comments were never pro-violence orientated, or not appropriate in any way. Maybe missunderstud in some ocassions. My comment " euro goes to croatia now! " was simply a joke. I didnt mean to offend people who got injued yesterday, or would it be normal to do such an idiotic thing. Sarcasm is something, a little bit of humor with no black background is something else to sarcasm. The only sarcastic thing in here is that the politicians that made Italian south poor are now so hugely surprised by violence in Sicilia. But you keep behaving like we need to follow your will in here and your standards and Im not willing to do that. I dont care what your standards are. It's exausting to argue over such things as it is more of a moral or evrn, in the last line, philosophical issue or problem. Like, humor with emphaty? So IF I HAVE OFFENDED ANY OF YOU WITH MY COMMENT, I do apologise. But I do not apologise to you as you need to realise you are not the local policeman in here. Say whatever you want and then let people talk. If you have problems, contact the moderators. Now I really have to learn for some exams and this WILL be the end of this meaningless and pointless "discussion" with you. This is football forum. Im offering a hand to you but I also have to draw the line somewhere.

there is no need for you to apologize at all. I just don't see why you would want them to apologize, and why you had to be so harsh on them.

thank you for remembering my problem in New Orleans. I appreciate that. we are still recovering and there are still a lot of issues, and probably it will take another 20 years. to answer your question whether I would appreciate 'sarcasm' about this, believe it or not, 'sarcasm' is much more appreciated than 'indifference', as long as 'sarcasm' comes with sympathy, as long as 'sarcasm' comes with help. On another note, after being stranded in the house for one full way and finally able to get away, I have learned to look at everything on its bright side. Only a few days after the hurricane, when I was still in the city, I heard on the radio that some big names (I won't mention the name) wanted to 'bulldoze' the city as it would be the easier. You just have to face it, not everyone cares. But honstly, in this matter (thread), I believe that do care. And I believe that you were being too harsh on them, so I wasn't surprised that they weren't happy.

I don't want to be a police here in this forum, as that's not my job. and I know I won't do a good job either. that's why I believe that if they were indeed out of line, the mods would have contacted them and warned them. They would have known and probably they would behaved accordingly. But when if comes from you and in a harsh tone, why would you believe that they would agree with you? If you really want to help them, try some thing new.

Speaking of standard, different people have different standard obviously. that's why I believe that we don't let 'individual' police, we let the 'institution' police. There are rules for this forum, and I honestly don't see they were doing anything unethical. Even if I failed to spot that due to different level of standard, you could have kindly reminded them that it would be even better if they not even include any joking ingredient under this solumn circumstance, and I am sure that they would have much appreciated your notes. I kind of understand why they 'fought' back and do you think that this kind of tension is what is needed for this thread? It would not be appropriate either, right?

Let's have confidence in people, that they will do the right things. The rules and regulations are there, so let everyone be subject to that.
