You have absolutely no clue of being a real fan or not. Especialy since you can't judge people from a forum on the Internet. read some posts in another of these forums, you might get a slight idea who I am, and I'm not affraid of peeps even if they're as big as two shwarzeneggers standing on top of each other.

Bigger the club, farther the fans will be from home, more expensive the trip.

So,

Milan vs. Celtic

I don't think there is much to say.

Also, if I would want to go and prioritize attending a match at San Siro over anything else I could go I suppose, but I'm not alone, I have a wife and two kids with a third on the way...

So If I have to choose between San Siro or sending my oldest kid on a school trip to Switzerland, well I think the latter is a bit more important, besides San Siro isn't going anywhere, I still have time to get there, when time and finances permit. (maybe I will be as old and bald as Galliani when I finaly get there but I will make it, that's for certain)

Also last time I checked Milan was still in Italy so from where I live it's not an organized trip like the Celtic supporters will travel at group prizes but i'll have to pay everything @full price Maybe I should play the lottery more, but then again I never had luck in games...

Yes I have two kids and a fiance.

You might laugh but I gamble for a living.

Pireloke we get a trip works out about €500 - €600 so It isnt cheap even going In groups though Im just going with the woman. Flights were too expensive from Ireland ryanair put them up for matches. Sogoing to England first staying there a night then to Turin then Milan for two nights back to England two nights then back home to Ireland.

Altogether paying for me and woman flights to England €150 flightsto Turin €250 Hotel €350 tickets, then spending money? But worth It to see my team play + Its very long journey.

then you do work, gambling or an office job, it's income after all and that's what it all comes to in the end of the day.
It's not cheap but it's not overly expensive either - in the US a 2-3-day trip to Milan with game ticket, round-trip ticket and accomodations go for a good $2,500+/person.

You for one can afford to go, and good for you, but that doesn't mean that other people are in the same boat as you, especially true for most people outside the U.S., Europe, and the Far East ... that's why I found your previous comments about who's a "true" fan and who isn't, a bit "misplaced".

It is interesting to know that you gamble to make a living. You probably have a lot to share with Tony29 (one of our members here who happens to gamble a little bit. ).

As for the match, I personally don't think that it will be played behind closed doors.

Yeah, Scots and Irish drink a lot and hold their liquor better than the English Also I never had trouble with Scottish supporters (at least during the eighties) and Belgium played a lot vs. Scotland and Ireland back then (4 of 5 times at least can't remember exactly)

FOR SHAME WARRO.

A bit on the fans and away game situation for Celtic supporters...

ITALIAN PLAN COULD AFFECT HOOPS FANS

Article here: http://www.football365.com/story/0,1...899408,00.html

I hope things have calmed down enough in the next four weeks that Milan can play this CL game the way it should be played...lots of fans from both sides, cheering on their boys.

Ban away supporters from entering the ground but yet let home fans In?

Oh my god. I mean come on what rubbish Is that surely that cant be right nor can It be fare.

If It was the case you would see every Celtic fan wearing Milan jersey then the Milan jersey would be comnig off.

I guess we will know soon enough as Inter's home match versus Valencia in CL is around the same time Celtic will host Milan, so we will see what happens with Inter and Valencia supporters

So I guess the games will go on and this matter will be swept under the rug by the IFGC as usual. Sigh.
