I'm in Ireland. We get the British version of Sky over here. Setanta have the rights to the SPL but Sky show the Champions league games (aswell as ITV Scotland).

Nesta is out of both legs. Darn.
With San Siro reduced to half capacity, away leg has become more important!
I'm working for the first half. It's going to be horrible not knowing what's happening!
Off for the 2nd leg.

A question out to the Canadian peeps...who's showing the game? I don't have RAI international or GolTv (must hassle family for that soon). Might just end up trying my luck with livestream...

Either way I won't be attending class for both legs. I think I'm coming down with a little something, must be the Tuesday flu.

1-2 to Celtic today.

The 1st goal was a pass from Nakamura to Vennegoor and back to Nakamura. Naka then released Beattie down the line and he scored from a tight angle.

The freekick for the 2nd goal was all about Naka again. About 4 or 5 passes went through him in 15-20 seconds. The final pass was to Vennegoor who got pulled back by the Aberdeen defender. Freekick on the edge of the box, there's more chance he'll score than miss. He scored on the keepers side of the goal.

We controlled most of the game but Aberdeen had their chances. Finally in the 89th minute a long ball by their keeper was flicked on to Aberdeen's striker who put the ball through Boruc's legs.

Naka's 9th goal and 20th assist of the season aswell as the man of the match award.

I don't think anyone's showing the game live - Rai doesn't have CL at all, TLN is showing the Inter game, TSN is showing Celtic-Milan but only on replay the same day.
the only SAT cable channel that has the game live, that I know off, is ESPN 2, Spanish version, but it's probably not available in Canada. ESPN Deportes also has the game but on replay.

for some reason, Carlo doubts that Gila will recover for the Celtic game - most probably he got injured in training - and pippo's condition is yet to be evaluated and only then a decision on whether he would play or not will be made ... chances are, Pippo will be foit enough for the bench but not ready for a whole game.
That leaves us with RO as a lone striker and Aubumeyang, and maybe Pippo too, as reserve options.

That can only be good news for us. Oliveira wouldn't be suited to playing the lone striker role, would he?

actually, I think that's exactly what he played fot Betis amd he excelled in that position.
a front line of Gourcuff, Kaka, RO will be a very dangerous one, I think, with lots of skill and speed.

With Ancelotti in charge, i wouldn't be suprised to see a midfield consisted of Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini and Brocchi, with Kaka and RO upfront.
Or he may try again playing Cafu as midfielder, like he did some 2 weeks ago.
I don't think Gourcuff is one of his favourites and i won't be suprised if he won't include him in starting 11 !

Yeah, I'd say he'll put out a solid team and try to play for a 0-0 or sneak a win.

I don't think Carlo has anything against Gorky. He's always underlined what a great talent the Frenchman is even if he didn't have to say anything flattering. Plus, whenever Gorky has been given the chance, he has hardly ever disappointed, on the contrary, he's been great most of the time, so Carlo would be able to find many drawbacks in him even if he wanted to.

Carlo himself said that Gourcuff needed time to adjust to the italian game and also to the training process at Milanello. This whole process was hampered by Gorky's cracked ribs injury which kept him for close to 2 months on the sidelines. That;s why I think the main reason why Carlo keeps Gorky out is to give him time to catch up in his understanding of how Milan plays as a team and make up for the trainings that he missed due to that injury.

Based on how rarely Gorky has been used so far, I guess a safe bet is to suggest that he would be on the bench vs Celtic. I, however, think that he will start alongside Kaka with Brocchi, Pirlo and Gattuso in midfield, especially with Seedorf suffering from a muscle strain, which made him miss the Siena game.
Nothin more solid, and at the same time preserving the danger up front, than a X-tree formation with 3 pacey and techical players at the front (and Gorky is some tackler too).

Forza Gorky

Milan won't play for 0:0 , i'm positive about that ( note that i'm not a Milan fan and i'm not defending them as a fan).
It's simply not in Milan's, or Ancelotti's nature to play for 0:0.
Of course, the match may end 0:0 but it certanly won't be because Kaka and Co. entered the pitch with a "Lets keep goalless draw" thought, or because the Italian team played Catenaccio.
Both coaches will analyse the other team, and Celtic's coach will see there's no chance for them to win the midfield batle. That's why i believe Milan will have most of the possesion on this match, and it means they will most probably create at least 2-3 serious chances.
Celtic's coach probably already knows Milan's weakness ( read : entire defence) and he'll try to use the same recipe many minows from serie A used this year against Milan.

IMO, we'll see 2-3 goals on this match !

I agree with this here...especially as Ambro scored the winner(or at least had a major part) today against Siena. If we do play a midfield with 3 DM's...don't expect those 2-3 great chances against Celtic.
