This was in the Daily Record, a Scottish newspaper ... i thought it was worth putting in here.

Celtic's Shunsuke Nakamura did not get any sleep after failing to score from two free-kicks against AC Milan. (Daily Record)

Poor guy

If Gattuso could shoot and pass well, we would be worth 250 mil pounds! It is impossible to do everything. He played brilliant game against Celtic and aldough he took like 100 passes away from Celtic players, he still managed to run counter attacks and to "finish" them up. He is still one of the best 3 DM in the world. FORZA GATTUSO!!!

Now thats why I am sick of British clubs FINE......., he scored from 2 free kicks in the group stages but that doesnt mean that he is Juninho . This news should b concerned only with Juninho as he is miles ahead of others when it comes to free kicks, not even Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Henry can match him.

drucurl, who is saying Nakamura is Ronaldinho?

mzk, Juninho isn't Scottish and doesn't play for a Scottish team, so why would a Scottish newspaper be concerned with him?

I don't think anyone is saying Nakamura is the best at free-kicks, but he is good, there's no denying that. I think some are reading a bit too much into this.

I think its a bit conceited for someone to think soo much of their ability that a failure to score against a huge club like Milan would affect them so drastically.....In that case sheva and Prilo should still have trouble sleeping after the Liverpool fiasco.......and Gila should become a professional insomniac

Jims right, you are making too much of this (though Zeekay usually does so thats no surprise )

Nakamura is a freekick specialist and he had 2 opportunities and failed, for Milan this is just a last 16 game of the kind they play nearly every season but how often does Nakamura play at this stage in the CL against a side like Milan?

I think quite a few players will have been running through the game again in their heads thinking if only they have done this or that, im sure Valdez will be doing so after the Liverpool game for example!

i bet Sheva has thought about the miss from pointblank range in extra time more than once, it wouldnt make him conceited, only human.
