Okay guys, since they ARE showing it on classic at 5 like bosniaco said, i will be watching that since i have class during the regular game. Im sorry i wont be here to route with you guys! Ill jump on here once i finish watching the game.. im going to be wearing my milan jersery to class tomorrow, if someone spills the results of the game to me before i see it.. well i will probally be on the front of news papers!

The thing with the Inter game is that he'd played against Celtic in midweek and it's clear he just doesn't have 2 games in 3/4 days in him anymore. In one off games like this, i'm still confident in his abilities. However, playing both Nesta & Maldini together when neither are fully match fit would be a bit of a worry for me. Bonera should start alongside one of them.

the problem with Maldini is not just that he doesn't have 2 games in him in the space of 3 days but that, even if his stamina was fine, his knee would not allow him to play so often ... that's exactly what Prof Marteens advised him not to do.

In the inter game he wasn't just tired but also playing with pain in his knee and was sidelined for 2-3 weeks after that game, so I wouldn't necessarily use that game as a measure of Maldini's quality at the moment.

As Zlatanov said, Inter game is not a measure of how Maldini is fit. He has been working with 100% pace for 11 days now and says he is ready for 90 min of 100% football. We need him for todays game as when we go forward he can transform to LB and control the game more than Bonera can from behind. (when the pressure is on of course..). Bonera will play against Empoli. So, its Nesta-Maldini today, nice to see that again
About the rest of the squad noone really knows what Carlo will do, but I hope he doesnt play Seedorf as that would destroy our midfield against Bayern players that can run as hell. Its Gourcuff or Ambro for me. Or even Pirlo-Gattuso-Ambro-Gourcuff-KAka'-Gilardino, like in the Celtic away game....

Bayern has strong fullbacks in Lahm and Sagnol and Oddo and Marek will have to perform super, not like against Inter for example.... Dont think we will win easily, Bayern is really strong at this moment, and I hope we have some luck with crosses and corners and maybe score that way, it would be nice....

Zlat i never used the Inter game as a reference to Maldini's quality. I said in my post that his performance suffered due to the celtic game beforehand, combine that with his knee problem and it would have been a miracle if he had performed as normal.

actually, I was referring to what Warro said but quoted your post as it was part of what I wanted to say

seems like oliveira won't be playing any part tomorrow.
I hope ancelotti will play gourcuff at some point of time

It can be seen that Pirlo plays better with Gourcuff than Seedorf as Gourcuff plays wider simply becouse he can run more. Pirlos long passes than have more space and he himself has more space to play creative football. Also, Kaka' combines better with Gourcuff than Seedorf. So lets play this boy with Gattuso-Pirlo-Kaka' alongside him!

It is better to play with Seedorf against this physically strong bayern. Seedorf also has a lot more experience and that's very important in this sort of games.
The most important thing is to not let bayern score. If they don't score then we also will not need to score. A 0-0 is a perfect result to go to Munchen, but off course it can always be better. Hopefully Kaka' let us see his magic again.

While 0-0 is a good result, as this is a result that would favour us going to Munich, I would still like us to have one or two unanswered goals in our favour.

That said, I would further hope that if we do get a couple of goals, that we dont go to Munich with any complacency.
