There's an article on CH4 (so i guess it's on some other sites aswell) about Kaka's pledge to Milan and saying how he'll see all the fans next season and how he wants to be in the Milan history books as a great player ... etc, etc

Wonderful words and i hope they are true, but seeing as how Shevchenko uttered similar things at a similar time last season and then went on to move to London, i won't take anything for granted until the summer transfer window is over and he's still with us.

Kaka again pledges commitment to AC Milan

Kaka has again pledged his commitment to AC Milan
Real Madrid captain Raul admitted on Friday he'd like to call the Brazilian a teammate next season.

"Milan and this city are very important for me, more from a human point of view than as a footballer," said Kaka, who is contracted to the club until 2011.

"I have only played in two sides, Sao Paulo and Milan. I feel affection for the clubs I represent, I am a faithful person when it comes to football, just like I am with my friends and my wife.

"Last year I renewed my deal to show that I wanted to stay. I play in a team that I like.

"I want to give my all for Milan and I would like to be remembered in the club's history as one of the players who have won a great deal. In any case, I want to tell the supporters that I will see them all next year."

Kaka is only one of the Rossoneri's Brazilians and he admitted that he was pleased after Ronaldo's arrival at the San Siro in January.

"He has always been an example for me, I grew up looking at him and today I am very excited to be able to play beside him. Football is a special sport, especially for the strong emotions it can give you," concluded Kaka.

Then he answer as to why the Brazilian team failed in the WC:

what seperated us and for example Italy was motivation. The Scandals in Italy just before the WC made their players believe they had more to win which gave them more motivation than us.

I've Dreamt About Playing For Real Madrid - Kaka Kaka still has a move to Real Madrid on his minds, if Los Merengues can strike a deal with Milan.

"Real Madrid would have to contact Milan first," he told Marca when asked if he wanted to move to the Bernabeu.

"I wouldn't have a problem with both clubs reaching an agreement."

"I don't think about my future, honestly," he continued. "I don't know what tomorrow may bring.

"One thinks about his future when he is going through a bad time, but I'm not.

"I've dreamt about playing for Real Madrid, but I have to say I'm very happy at Milan.

"I would never betray Milan, but I'd go along if they reached an agreement."

The discussion shifted to the best players in the world, and the contenders for the big individual awards, and the Brazilian made no bones about his own chances.

"I think I'm one of the best and I'm in a team that allows me to shine," he said.

"To be the best player in the world one has to play for a team that wins titles.

"If Milan win I could then be awarded individual awards such as the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player."

What a load of crap. Talk about putting words in someone's mouth. Kaka doesn't strike me as the type focused on individual awards. Ah, the benefits of a slow news day.
