It wasn't too fun being in a pub full of LUFC supporters, but I was able to hide away. I did see a few Milan supporters on my way there though.
The game wasn't anything too spectacular, Liverpool played quite well, but we were able to control some of the game - though some of Jankus slip-ups and Rino's stray pass didn't help things. It's good that I've got Inzaghi on teh back of my shirt!

2) Congratulations to everyone who cried having go through the Istanbul tragedy - for having buried that day forever under the confetti of glory.

3) Congratulations to the players for riding above the commentary from the unfriendly media, the difficulties of overcoming Moggipoli and all the words of unkindness we have had to endure from those morons at Inter.

4) Congratulations to Ancelotti - he has stuffed a sock into every one of his critics frothy mouths. Not only is he one of the greatest tacticians in the world but he has proved that his rapport with his players and the fans is untouchable. Next season with Ronaldo under his wing, watch Milan destroy under his command.

You need to learn not to be so bitter Mehdi. I strongly disagree with the way you view things but this isn't the time or place to argue, today should be a day of celebration for Milan fans.

The first half was all Liverpool. Benitez had his tactics exactly right, and his players were executing his plan well. Pennant was huge on the right and the center mids pressing hard on Pirlo and Kaka. I thought it was only a matter of time getting the opening goal with Pennant getting all that space and Janku really struggling. But then Alonso made that one mistake, and Liverpool paid for it.

Kopite you can say your team was better on the day, blah, blah, blah...and your team created more chances, blah, blah, blah...and you know what, maybe you're right. But sir this is not the first time and certainly not the last time you'll see a football game turn out this way. So shave and go home.

To those Milan fans out there who really, really believed, especially Warro and Rick , guys who I sparred with last summer, my most sincere apologies. I wasn't a believer at all going into the season, for good reason. And I was right during the early going, Milan were struggling mightily. But then January came, Ronaldo came in and charged up the side, Carletto tweaked his lineup and well, who woulda thunk it?
