From what I've heard, Oddo didn't really lose his medal at all and was apparently joking around. If that's not the case, he should've done what Dida did and tucked it into his shirt.

And the official Milan site, though I'll try to get them cheap on eBay.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I'm still stunned by Milano's celebrations. I've taken two days to recover last night party in the centre of Milano.
Firstly the megascreen (guys, i just could get a few highlights of the match, it was too packed and oddly the tallest guys in town just always in front of me LOL ), and the amazing tension for the game.
Then the final whistle. People went mental.

I just could finally get a revenge for that bloody night of 2 years ago (i was in Milan centre too).
When we were about to lift the throphy i couldn't watch the screen properly, so i asked a street seller to let me watch from his street kiosk structure and after praising him for a couple of minutes the great guy (thank you so much, man !!!) let me see Paolo lifting his 5th Eu Cup properly !!!!!

I couldn't be more happy!

Then people celebrating went here and there, and while i was walking i heard people were going to party just under Massimo Moratti's home and Inter offices in via Durini LOL.
Meanwhile we reached Piazza San Babila, and i saw people celebrating in the water inside the fountain, and taking everything inside.

The streets were full of cars and crazy bikers...
The celebrations healed the amazing unjustice of Istanbul's final, and we finally felt a nightmare was fading in the memories.

We are Champions of Europe for the 7th time. From now the mission is to reach Real Madrid and become the most successful club ever!!!!!

A final thank to Mr. Silvio Berlusconi. He took us in the middle of Eighties and yesterday led us to his 5th European Cup. Without him nothing of this would have been possible.

thank you milan for this great victory!!!
just curious, why did the referee blow the final whistle 15 seconds earlier than the designated injury time's duration?
as the defending champion, do we have to face the preliminary round as we do not finish top 2 in serie A?

I think only 4 teams of the same nation are allowed.

No no no, zlat, the word on the banner is 'culo', in english ass
Thanks

EDIT: I just looked at that photo with the banner in question and the people who are holding the banner are NOT Milan fans, these are Milan players on top of the double-decker bus ... so, it kind of seems a bit too extreme for them to be saying "put the scudetto in your a**" to Inter ... the fans, yeah, but the milan players?!
strange ... ity's true

put it in your ass

Words just cant express how i felt seeing il capitano lifted the cup...
I watched the game over and over..... Can't get enough with it.....

Btw Zlat, I was a bit surprised too when you said about the players who hold the banner about '' put the scudetto...". But seeing all the picture in Coriello site you can understand that it's not the players who made it... (They hold no banner at the begining) it just a banner from the crowd. Given the situation of euphoria and probably a sense of joke, they might took it. Let them have a bit hangover.... then we will handle it with class again...

yeah, I guess you are right as that's what some sites and papers in Italy seem to be suggesting too - fans were passing these banners to the players, who probably weren't thinking much in that euphoria.
Galliani has apologized though and said that as soon as he was told what the banner read, he had it removed.
