Trezeguest The New Van Basten

All you naive ones out there

Gilardino is only good for a pub team, Inzaghi is just a pickpoceket.

Trezrquest is the best striker today and best player ala 2004. Heres how i rate vintage van basten to trezequest to inzaghi to ronaldo

The bracket with ronaldo means where the fat one is right now. Still better than gilardino though

Van Basten Inzaghi Trezequest Ronaldo

Heading 9.5 8 9 7.5 (8)
crossing 8.5 7.5 8 7.5 (7.5)
control 9 7.5 8.5 9 (8.5)
finishing 9.5 9 9.5 10 (9)
goal rate 9.5 9 9.5 10 (8.5)
team play 9 8 8.5 8.5 (8)
work rate 8.5 7.5 8.5 8.5 (7)
dribbling 8 8 8 9 8.5)
creative 8.5 7.5 8 8 (8.5)
speed 8.5 8.5 9 10 (8)

Trezeguet isn't Milan material. Other than Oliveira and Borriello, every Milan striker is better than him. Also, we don't need such an established Juventino. Too weird (Pipo is an exception). We just won the CL, we can attract much better than Trezeguet. Also, what's with all this Emerson talk. Do people really want him at Milan and why? Aren't we satisfied with Seedorf. Easily the best player this season other than Kaka.

On the last part - Emerson has nothing to do with Seedorf. He'll take Amrosini's place if he joins Milan.

As for Trezeguet....if you don't want him as an established Juventino, then i can understand you.
But Trez not being Milan material ? If a player who averaged 21 goals per season while playing with Juve in serie A and CL ( 126 goals / 6 seasons) isn't Milan material then noone else in the world is Milan material.
And who is much better ( in terms of scoring goals) than Trezeguet out there ? Only Shevchenko who averaged 24 goals per season ( in 90 matches more than Trezeguet) and RVN with 30 goals per season in last 6 seasons ( on 95 matches more than Trez), have better record than the frenchman ( all european best leagues included).

You may doubt his quality and form in season 2006/07 , but he couldn't motivate himself in serie B and i wouldn't take this bad season so seriously (he still scored 14 goals eventhough without any motivation).
Wherever he plays next year, he'll be gold and best scorer of the team. Trez will be a top scorer even in another league (guys like Trez have no problems when changing leagues) , and if he stays in Italy and plays in serie A , i bet you he'll score +20 goals.
Too bad Inter is the team interested in Trezeguet !

those stats are not authentic but have been tampered with ... and you know it, Tony.
Trez sucks and I just dont see how anyone in their right state of mind could want him at Milan.

Trezeguet would be good to Milan in Calcio, not in Champions League

Fine. I'll have to use links to prove it

David Trezeguet in Juventus :
2000/2001 : Matches:32 Goals :15
2001/2002 : Matches:46 Goals :33
2002/2003 : Matches:28 Goals :13
2003/2004 : Matches:34 Goals :22
2004/2005 : Matches:24 Goals :14
2005/2006 : Matches:42 Goals :29
Total : Matches:206 Goals :126
in 6 seasons he played 34 matches per season and scored 21 goals per season. 0.62 goals per match
http://www.juventus.com/uk/team/deta...488000&ID=2408

Andriy Shevchenko in Milan :
1999/2000 : Matches:43 Goals :29
2000/2001 : Matches:51 Goals :34
2001/2002 : Matches:38 Goals :17
2002/2003 : Matches:39 Goals :10
2003/2004 : Matches:45 Goals :29
2004/2005 : Matches:40 Goals :26
2005/2006 : Matches:40 Goals :28
Total : Matches:296 Goals :173
In 7 seasons Sheva played 42 matches per season and scored 24.7 goals per season. 0.58 goals per match
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andriy_Shevchenko

Ruud Van Nistelrooy in ManUtd and Real Madrid:
2001/2002 : Matches:45 Goals :36
2002/2003 : Matches:50 Goals :44
2003/2004 : Matches:41 Goals :30
2004/2005 : Matches:26 Goals :16
2005/2006 : Matches:39 Goals :24
2006/2007 : Matches:41 Goals :31
Total : Matches:242 Goals :181

In 6 seasons RVN played 40 matches per season and scored 30 goals per season. 0.75 goals per match
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruud_van_Nistelrooy

I didn't count Trezeguet's season in serie B and Sheva's season with Chelsea because serie B won't give the true picture, just like Sheva's year in Chelsea won't give the true pic on Sheva's goalscoring abillities.
Also, Ronaldo beats them all but his long term injury makes it really hard to make statistics like the above ones.

As you can see Zlat, i was right about everything ( except the number of matches RVN played. I counted all the matches, including the ones he played in Dutch league).
Don't mess with the Statistics Man

you know what I think about all this, Tony ... besides that Trez is a useless and overrated player? ...
I think you need a new sarcasm detector

P.S. thanks for the stats though

I got your sarcasm you silly.
But you gave me a chance to use statistics to prove a point and you know i'd never miss such a chance

Oh , and Samuca.... Trez is solid also in Champions League. 28 goals in 44 matches

IMO, Trezeguet is one of the most underrated strikers in the world. I really rate this player. As Tony correctly points out, his scoring rate is phenomenal. He has also been more crucial for France than Henry (ok he missed a penalty in the shoot-out last summer but he also won them Euro2000).

Great player who can adapt to any team. If Trez comes, he will come with experience and drive.

I fully agree ... in fact I have often said that would like to see him at Milan as we'll need an experienced and reliable target-man once Pippo retires.
Actually, before the CL final I was seeing this as Pippo's last season with us and wanted namely Trez to replace him but after those 2 goals va Pool, how do you get rid/retire a player like Inzaghi?!

i rather don't see 'em at milan. he is an amazing striker. but why should we buy him?
so juve could buy huntelaar?

let's focuse to our current strikers: ronaldo, gila, pipo (,borrielo, olviveira)
we should buy a young one, 1 that won't complain sitting on bench and a very good sub for our current 1s.

i can't say don't buy treze because he is amazing, but just not the player we are looking for.
we are IO looking for a fast striker (which he is) but with exelent dribling capacities(which he isn't)

You know how my work goes. 3-4 hours per day
And since the school year is over i have nothing to do but sit by the PC and wait for some lost soul to enter my office and ask me something about the exams.
And since noone's asking me anything i've got all the time in the world to spend on fan and betting forums .

And i don't think there's a chance Trezeguet to join Milan. Galliani ruled out the Gila-Trez swap deal option and i simply can't see Milan offering money for Trez, nor i can see Juve selling Trez to Milan.
If Trez is sold then it will be La Liga or EPL , i doubt it will be serie A (although, Secco could make some genious Trez-Samuel or even better, Trez-Burdisso swap )

sounds like a dream job ... maybe we should all consider a career in the academia

for now, Tony, for now ... and I doubt Juve would agree to atraight swap either but if Gila doesn't show a significant improvement AG might give it a thought to send him to Juve with Trez and 5-6 mil going the other way.
