Anybody know why Andrey Arshavin is still playing for Zenit? IMO he is a pretty good supprot striker/attacking mid and deserves to be in a top club soon(Milan preferably). I'd even go as far as saying that I'd take him before Eto'o once his price is right.

I would think the reason is a very high price, and little to no experience in European football, the one that counts, not Russian league games.
guess his price would be at least 10-15 mil, which isn't peanuts and the clubs that can actually afford such moneys, would prefer to invest it in more proven players.

transfer fees in russia have gone nutz lately with many clubs paying tens of millions for relatively unknown to the EUropean scene players, foregners or not ... if you ask me, perfect scenario for money laundering

Arshavin is a gvery good player, but I think that his form are faling. I think that we can buy Kerlon or Quaresma for same price, and they are younger. But if we buy Arshavin I will accept with pleasure.
