ok, now you are making sense - garbage =! wrong
you should have said that much earlier
btw, i wouldn't say you are stacking up credibility ... and feel free to sub the word "wrong" with "garbage" in my earlier post

again, share an opinion, it's just an opinion, doesn't have to be true ... after all that's what makes discussion fruitful - dif points of view ... and this is the right thread for an opinion on this, so you wouldn't be "hogging" it ...
if you don't have an opinion, then just say so

Pirlo is definitely among to top 10 midfielders in the world. Vision, technique, control, this guy is truly a genius. I was one of Pirlo's most ardent critics in the past. But the more I watch him play, the more he reminds me of Falcao, Redondo and Zico all moulded into one player. Truly one of Milan's best ever buys. For the role he plays no player in the world can do what he does.

Grande Pirlo

I think the reason about why some of his free-kicks are off target when he obviously can hit the post at will is that when you are trying to hit the bar at practice with nobody around you, you are hitting a very different straight forward shot. What I mean by that it, you don't try to curve the ball, you don't try to get it over the wall and make it dip and you certainly don't try to give it power. Also, the angle matters a lot as well. At practice you can hit the post from your favorite angle whether it is straight forward or from an angle. A free kick can be at different places and different ranges and angles. When you try to give the ball power and at the same time give it a spin so it gets away from the keeper and as well lift it over the wall and give it enough time to dip down into the goal...........It is obviously a very very different shot then just "PASSING" the ball to the bar. Because hitting the bar at practice is just like giving a long pass, with no real power or spin.

That's just my oppinion on it.

Great player for Italy and Milan. He's the most accurate passer in football. He has vision and is a 'god' when it comes to set-pieces. He didn't have his best season this year, but nontheless, he still orchestrates our midfield and I feel he will for a very long time.
