Relax Relax BmW; These unbelievers will never be grateful for what they have
and always think that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence ,
though i do admit there were times i was outraged by Dida's performance , I have
to be a man and admit that He is still among the TOP 5 GK's out there in the world
and Milan Would Never Have Won The UCL without Dida's Contributions
whether ALL Milanista's Agree on this or not. This is a FACT

The below video is taken from Vadim's post in the classic milan videos thread. Watch it and realise we have one of the best keepers around. Yes i know he has made the odd mistake but these things happen. On form he is probably the best shot stopper in the world. One of the saves below is a game i was at milan juve 2003 against Zalyeta. That save defied belief.

Another game i was at Milan Roma 2004. Roma fans bombarding him with objects trying to get the match abandoned. Despite being hit several times he bravely kept his position and ensured we won the league that day. Also remember how brave he was against Inter in Champions League when hit by a flare.

The guy is a legend and the the video below shows what a good keeper he is.

But if Dida can pick up from where he left off after the last two weeks of the season, including, of course, the CL final, he'll retire a Milanista.
I agree, but there's no reason why we can't get someone for the long run, someone young, speaking amelias age, but defininitely not amelia himself, most overrated player ever, and may i add isnt even half as good as dida , we should go for someone like landreau or possibly, in our next summer market, go all out for buffon.

Landreau is already locked up with another team, and Buffon isn't going anywhere with that new contract. If we sign a new keeper over the next couple years, it'll be a relative unknown or a very good keeper, but not a superstar.

You can call me Tay, or Beemer. Just not both.

Nah, I'm not a murderer. I'm sure Zeekay is wetting his pants over this one, though. The article was excruciatingly biased (the title speaks volumes), and read like a tired Hollywood script:

Yet ANOTHER mention of Leeds? Check.
The usual claim of his "high" number of errors without backing it up? Check.
eBay mention? Check.
Conveniently focusing only on the negative and ignoring his accomplishments? Check.
Judging his overall season by just ManU and Bayern? Check.
Inclusion of his contract extension? Check.
The requisite suck-up to Buffon? Check.
The "Dida-is-the-only-one-who-screwed-up-last-year-at-Milan" mentality? Check. (The topper was the line, "Fortunately, his teammates came to the rescue." Shaddup.)

This is the part I love the most. And no mention of the return legs or of the final. I'm not in love with Dida like you are , but I can't stand this kind of criticism.

I still think he's not at the form he was during #6 or #17, but I rate only Buffon ahead of him.

-Toldo and Cesar won the Italian Serie-A last season

*don't say (pathetic) d!da won CL last season, bcoz he did every thing he could to lose another title for ACM. Paolo, Kaka and Inzaghi won it without a keeper (its a kind of world record) OK

I admit that he has made major mistakes in the past, but you cannot judge a GK based on a game or two per season... His real worth becomes obvious when you look at his performance game by game. Granted, we have lost some games mainly due to his errors, however, I can also list a good number of games he has saved for Milan, when another GK could easily concede goals on certain occasions and he did not....
For that matter, I still DO have faith in Dida, though I'm expecting a few errors here and there throughout the season. I believe that Carlo, Galliani and Co. know best, and if they still have confidence in him, there should be something about him...

Yes, it could be that sometimes Dida seemed unsure, but the question is: sometimes Casillas, Cech never gave the same impression? I suggest you to re-watch, for example, the first and the last AC Milan game of the last Champions', against Red Star and Liverpool: Dida made a big number of great saves really, so, saying Dida is a crap, I think you are lacking a bit of objectivity.

how about cech coming out for a cross and taking down 2 of his defenders and leaving bikey (?) from reading an easy tap in goal...

all players make mistakes, just when it happens to a goalie, it usually results in a goal...
just ask van da sar...
